For anyone interested - the photograph shows the carburettor upside down. Also the choke and throttle arms should be on same side one above other.
Setting idle below 2000rpm with 15x4 wood prop is unsteady. Both my 15cc engines with 15x4 achieved throttle rpm range of 2000/2100 to max 9100.
Main body parts are easily replaced but front prop shaft is literally impossible. I don't know how factory fitted it - but its screwed up so tight that it actually rounded out my box spanner trying to undo it ! I may have to resort to carbo disc cutting the front section of the shaft hub to allow a socket set to get on it. The new shaft extension comes with new shaft hub.
I am also considering replacing the Nylock nut used for prop retention as this is so tight in the nylon section - I have to put grips on the hub to tighten up. My thoughts are to use two standard nuts instead.
Overall though - its an engine I would recc'd even to a beginner. Its easy enough to tune and get a good run. Once set - it will only need a click or two if weather goes really cold / hot. 99pcnt of the time - I don't need to touch any setting on it.Hi,

I mounted it in the Hobbyking Me-109 with a 3-blade prop. (12.5/7)
Maybe i will also try a 13/7 prop but i will see
The engine starts really easy with the manufacturing settings and a 4,8v NiMh for the ignition.
Flying time will be approximately 25min with 250ml fuel
I can fully recommend this engine and would buy it again
Very happy with this product. Using it on my hanger 9 meridian 10cc (had to reinforce the firewall) now flying half throttle 90pcnt time.
Using factory settings for break-in running two tanks on a 13x6 APC prop and 20:1 mix using 91 octane and Castrol power1 TTS racing 2T fully synthetic Jaso FD.
RPM peak at 11500.
Change to 30:1 running 15x6 prop RPM at 8500. Great power. Easy start. Very loud for its size but this is great on the field.
