I purchased this engine a few months ago and fitted it to a giant stick, the engine has plenty of power with a 18*8 prop, it is easy to start and took minimal tuning. I have just ordered a second one to fit in a Corben Baby Ace. Great value engine.

good little engine for the price runs vey comparable to my dle 20. does need priming to start but seems to run ok. the rcg 20cc is much better engine. tuning is a bit finicky but its still a decent engine.

This was my first gas motor. I usually fly electric and converted my 96" Cessna to gas. Started right away but soon learned that the ignition is very sensitive to voltage levels. Too low or too high, the engine will quit. Also, after seven flights the engine would slow and then increase in rpm while flying. I have readjust the carburetor needle valve to factory setting and now it won't run at all. I plan to rebuild the carburetor and try again if I can find the parts. Not sure this is a Japanese Walbor carburetor.

Great running engine - Out of the box on a XOAR 18x8 after 20 minute break-in with my standard 40:1 mix of Stihl HP Ultra Synth is a reliable sub 2K idle and 6800-6900 RPM static. What a wonderful value and to my surprise very quiet with the stock muffler.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Motor springt gut an hat wenig vibrationen. Dreht eine 16x10 Menz 7500 U/min. 5kg Schub. Sehr empfehlenswert fr diesen Preis.

The manual in the file tab states that this is an RCGF. Is this really true? If so what a deal. I received mine and it looks really nice. Looking forward to getting it installed and running.

flew the engine on a H9 Funtana 100 for all of the 2014 flying season. The engine started and ran 100pcnt perfect. I highly recommend this engine. Started right up in spring of 2015.

Zuverlssiger Motor, springt immer einwandfrei an. Einlaufenlassen mit 5 liter 1:25 Benzin.
Luft jetzt mit Superbenzin und gutem Sytetikl mit 1:50.
Wird bei uns als Schulungsflieger in einem Telemaster mit 2,40m Spannweite eingesetzt.
Seglerschlepp bis 5 kg Segler ist damit mglich.
Tip zum Schalldmpfer. In das Endrohr ein saugend passendes Rohr einschieben.
Dieses muss oben so abgerundet sein, dass es im Schalldmpfer oben dicht abschliesst.
Jetzt in die der dem Einlass abgewandten Seite ca. 10 3mm Lcher bohren und das Innenrohr mit zB. Blindnieten im Endrohr befestigen. Diese Massnahme gengt um den Lrmpegel in den erlaubten Bereich zu bringen.

Unbeatable for the price! As an update, I have 15 flights which total more than 2 hours flight time without any problems whatsoever on this engine. (About 2/3 of a gallon, 87 octane 32:1 using Valvoline non-synthetic) 18x6 Zinger wood prop @ 7'200 RPM. Some minor adjustments during the run in which is to be expected. If I had to find any problem, it'd be a very minor seepage from the cylinder gasket, and the throttle linkage is a little too close to one of the 4 standoff mounts. Concerning the seepage I run this engine wide open each flight, so it gets used hard but never skips a beat. Run it in, take care of.it and you will be rewarded with a gem of an engine at a crazy good price!

This is an outstanding engine! I purchased this for my 1/4 scale Sopwith Pup kit, which took me 6 months to build. The guys at the field cannot believe this is a 130 dollar engine!!! Turning a Zinger 18X6 prop @ 7,000 RPM, and I have over 90 minutes of flight time thus far, never a sputter or hesitation. Choke, and two gentle flips and shes ready to fire up. The engine is wearing in nicely, and develops noticeably more power as the wear in progresses. So impressed with this gem I bought another for my next kit build. I see all the comments on the prop shaft, so I only snug it up and drill out the 3 holes for the hub, not a big deal whatsoever. I now have 6 RCG engines from HK, 3 are 20cc, 2 are this 26cc model and 1 is the 50cc for my giant scale P-47 kit. Using these engines in kits says a lot as I need to trust my powerplants after 6 months of building a plane and I have had NO PROBLEMS ever with RCG / RCGF gas engines!!!
