There's only one rating I can give: 5 stars!! It has everything to please pilots from beginners to more advanced! What I love about this model is the elevator, it is so precise you can touch the grass and fly away easily! Compared to the old Kinetic 800 it is way more tough and a bit faster, however the new design of the wing makes it less stable at low speed, stalls are violent especially when trying inverted flight...
Bad points: cheap propeller, battery trap made of foam. In overall it is definitely worth the money, would recommend to a beginner, just don't launch yourself the first time.
P.S: lost the kinetic 800 because of OrangeRX receiver. Never again(((This is a fantastic little plane that would make an excellent second addition to your fleet. It glides beautifully. On my first hand launch with no power it flew for an easy 30 meters. It is very fast and capable of aerobatics. I flew all stock on a 3s 1300. although mine did eventually die from a tip stall. it was due to pilot error. not enough power in the turn. Unfortunately it doesn't hold up well in a crash and if you bend the nose it will never fly right again, but if you treat it properly its lots of fun and very cheap.Very easy to build, ad your receiver, Set it up and you are good to go.... Great fun to fly, fast , agile and easy to fly, start wit 50 pcnt expo on elevator and aileron.... Great value for money. Never had so much fun for that price !I chose this plane as part of my learning process (after the Walrus). I crashed a bit at the beginning (about 20 months ago), but not any more.
It's a great plane for acquiring fast reactions and now it's my standard fun flier hack.

War positive ber die Vorfertigung und Ausstattung berrascht. Mit dem 1000kV Motor schnurrt der kleine auch ordentlich ab. Der Rumpf knnte etwas steifer ausgefhrt sein, aber das lsst sich mit zwei GFK-Stben entlang des Rumpfes (Einschneiden und Einkleben) schnell selbst erledigen. Wem der kleine Vogel zu langsam sein sollte, der kann z.B. den NTM 2826 1100kV oder den Turnigy D2826 2200kV verwenden. Letzterer braucht allerdings einen 30A Regler!

I bought this plane after 10 years without flying... I crashed 3 times but on the fourth it flew for about 5 minutes until crashed again... What I can say is that this plane is small enough to travel in the car and very fast! the downside is that it is also very fragile and should have carbon reenforced fuselage. Ahh please give double rates and expo as this plane is very sensitive.Great value for money. Well finished, well presented and packed. Seen the reviews mentioning either 'Tip Stalling' or adding weight at the front to get the C of G correct. Well I have found a really good solution to that. Put the receiver in the rear 'battery bay' and put the Nano-Tech 850mah battery in the front bay and push the battery back as far as it will go and 'bingo' the C of G is good (At 200mm) and it doesn't tip stall. Which it did when I did the first flight with the battery in the back pushed fully forward with 10g of weight in the nose. For rates for the elavator I have for Low Rates DR 60pcnt Expo 50pcnt. Medium Rates DR 75pcnt Expo 40pcnt High Rates DR 85pcnt Expo 40pcnt. For Ailerons I have the same DR/Expo as for the elevator. For the Rudder I have, Low Rates DR 60pcnt Expo 30pcnt Medium Rates DR 75pcnt Expo 25pcnt High Rates DR 100pcnt Expo 20pcnt. Flies great and stands up to wind and turbulence well too. Great model just to stick in the back of the car, ready to go with the minimum of preparation to get in the air.Finally got my today. While setting up all the parts together following issues were mentioned:
* Motor mount is assembled with inclination right which makes the motor shaft and prop point about 10 degrees off the straight line!
* Steel piece on battery door magnet lock missing
* Main wing turnable lock didn't come trough enough to be turned. I needed to unscrew it, then turn and screw it back to lock the mainwing.
I'm really disappointed, HobbyKing. The built quality of the New Super Kinetic 815 2015 is much worse then on first Kinetic 815 that I still fly with. When I got it for 2 years ago the only parts I changed since then is servos. The new one I don't even dare to fly, the motor inclination is the main reason.
I'll try RMA and I really hope I didn't pay shipping unnecessarily.This plane is really really good it flew straight like an error DO NOT TURN THIS PLANE WITH LESS THAN 50pcnt THROTTLE IT WILL TIP STALL WITH LESS THAN 50pcnt THROTTLE NOT A TRUE GLIDER. But i love the plane Cut your throws by 50pcnt and set expo really high does not require a lot of movements from surfaces. Very fast if expos and D/R set correctly a newbie can fly.Very funny: very fast and very responsive => Not recommended for a beginner (see the mini swift in this case, very gentle and fun little plane).
Slow speeds are possible, good gliding capabilities (more than 5 minutes with power down).
