solid stand with powerful fansGreat addition to the pit bench if you have a car with a cut out in the chassis for motor.
I bought this to cool my Mardave GTS GT12 car down after the races. The motor comes off track at about 50 deg c and is cold within 3 minutes.
The Red LED's on the fans are a bit much but some will like it. the wiring is good and there are little hooks underneath to keep the cables neat.Works well and fits it's purpose! It works with 2S and 3S LiPos. On 2S sends a breeze On 3S it does the job! I changed the bullet connectors with XT60 plugs has I have everything around here the same! Don't forget to install a low voltage alarm on your Lipo so it doesn't drain out!this work really well. I have 24v power supply and these needs 12v so I bought voltage reducer (like the one used in trucks to reduce 24v battery to 12v so it can run stereo and other stuff) and it work as a charm. I like the light weigh yet strong build, I worked a little on my 3 kg car on top of this base and it was sturdy enoughI have stopped using my lexan car stand in favor of this stand. Really stable and good quality. Cools well and get the car cool fast between runs. Highly recommended!Works good for my cargreat for the price you are going to be getting it at. Good for all 1/10 cars but i had a hpi drift sprint and there is hole in the chassis so the air from the fans can get to the motor and esc rest off the car to cold down but for something that got no hole in chassis there not to much point . work ok to on my 1/8 nitro but i dont know how you it would hold up if you put a hot nitro car/truggy on it .Very nice car-stand with pretty good quality. I also can use it for my 1:8 scale buggys, because of the hight of 135mm.
Great look and nice feature with LED-illuminated fan.
I do not very often use this feature, but it works and looks cool.
I dont like the always-on wiring, therefore i mounted two 4mm sockets and plug in the 4mm connectors only when i would like to use the fans.
Pretty good solution for me.Although the plastic is fairly thick, it does feel a little cheap at first. It seems like it would tip over with its rather high CG. However, when I placed my 1/10 Serpent Spyder on it,and my 1/8 SaberTooth, it balanced just right.
Besides a 12v power supply, it also seems to run on a 2S Lipo, also. I let it run on a 6400mAh Ulitmate 7.4v lipo and it worked just fine for the 4 mins I tested it. Not sure if that is a smart thing to do or not .. :) However, MAN .. did it provide a LOT of cooling air through those fan blades.Trs bon stand pour ma losi eight e 3.0,en 1/8 ou 1/10 ce stand ventil et lumineux conviendra parfaitement a nos voitures RFC et pour le prix.
