great motor have too of these now and are a great replacement for any 61-91 size frame. using a 100a delux on 6s 5000mah 25c. I got 15x8 1088 watts at 60 amp. 16x6 1162 watts at 76 amp. and 16x10 1370 watts at 86 amp hope this helps. all in all a great motor and will be buying more.

Looks a nice motor, bought to fit the HK Tomhawk propjet with 13x8 prop 6S 4000 Lipo gives just over 1:1 power weight ratio at 3200g. Flight times of around 10-12plus mins depending on how hard your flying. Could do with some form of holding method on the propshaft to help when tightening the prop nut as theres nothing to hold when a cowl cover it

I installed this motor in my Sebart Wind S i also have the Sebart Miss Wind . They are both runnning 6s 5000mah on 16,10e apc . Both pull 48-50 amps .the only difference is the SK3 is its cheaper and smother on power up from 0-full throttle . Will defo buy again instead of Hacker. By the way they are the same engine really as made in the same factory side by side to each other.

Superb motor, equivalent to a Hacker A50-16S and is perfect for all planes like the Sebart 50E range that specify that motor. This is my fourth SK3 motor, never had any problems with any of them one of which now has hundreds of flights on it. These are very good quality motors at a fifth of the price of Hacker or AXI. I run mine on a 16 X 10 prop on six cells and it only ever gets warm never hot.

Well Ive bench tested the sk3 5045-450 with 6 cell Nano tech 2700 65-130 cells. What ca I say?? IMPRESSIVE. Ive tested three turnigy wood electric props:
1) 15x6 850Watts 38A
2) 15x8 1100Watts 48A
3) 16x6 1265!!!Watts 55A

I will stay with the 16x6 because I will use this powerhouse in a 3D plane.

I bought this motor for a .46 size low wing which I converted to electric. At the rated 450kv I expected about 10500 rpm with a 6s battery. Actual performance was terrible so I went to a 12x6 then a 12x8 and am now getting respectable performance. Did some workbench tests today and discovered that RPM at 23.5v is 9100 which equares to Kv of 382, very different to the rated 450! Current draw was only 18.55 amps at 9100rpm with the 12x8 prop.
So, this is a much more powerful motor than the specs. would suggest!

Took advice and put this in airfield mustang 1450mm, 6 cell 2650mah battery, 80 amp exceed esc.....makes it a whole different airplane. Excessive power, will go vertical until you cant see it on stock four blade prop. Highly recommend.
