    Product Description

    The Gulfstream G500 is a modern long range business jet that is also used by the military in several counties, powered by 2 Rolls Royce Turbofan engines, it is a state of the art private jet.

    The Hobbyking G500 is a large & quite superb, high quality model of this attractive and succesful Civilian jet. Model jets of this class and size are normally cost prohibitive for all but the select few, not any more! Specs are impressive as the looks, the G500 features a composite fuselage and engine nacelles, the wings, rudder and horizontal stabilizer/elevator are balsa. As you would expect given it's size, the wings are plug in, feature split flaps and are retract ready, or you can use the supplied fixed landing gear.

    The engine nacels are bolt on and the high performance 90mm fan units are also supplied, the inlet rings double up as a chrome effect scale inlet for that final touch. There is tons of room for lipoly's in the easy access hatch area. This is a very attractive looking model that will look majestic and sound fantastic in flight, the G500 is a model any flyer would be proud to own.

    The plane kit itself is very attractive. Though when I received it it was broken in numerous places within the fuselage. The lower rating is due to the customer service. HK has got to improve their customer service. They are nonresponsive and totally ineffective when they do respond. Everything is a delay. It has been 3 weeks of dispute and I do not have a new plane. No one is disputing that it was damaged in transit. HK just will not replace it. They charged me $80 for shipping on it too...

    The G500 is a beautiful scale aircraft, I was sure to win model of the month at Mark's R/C Club CA. I received the the aircraft in damaged condition. The vertical leading edge was split open and other tail cone gouges. I retured the package via UPS. Still waiting for my show winner. It's been 33 days!

    Received mine few days ago, very impressive, very good quality unlikely comes with no instructions this is the reason of four star, retract ready and with split flaps looking at the wing she will need to fly quite fast !

    I just received the model today! It is a very high quality and beautifully finished model. I am excited about working on it and seeing it completed. It appears to have the hardware I was expecting and I have not moted any defects. However, there is absolutely NO documentation of any kind. I hope Hobby King will be supplying a file containing instructions and necessary information (throws, CG, landing gear location, etc.) A model of this quality demads to be completed correctly which makes retractable scale landing gear a requirement in my book. Any plans for HK to provide any? I see this as my biggest challenge in completing this model.

    One must be an experienced model builder because there are no instructions supplied with model.
    Five stairs for quality and price-very superb.
    Best model I ever received in my 40 years of modeling! Model seems complete with all necessary parts with no faults.
    I am excited to fly it.
    It is large enough for turbines,
