i tried 100 mw 1 watt and 6 watt ..plane in my barn and i walked out back holding the vid setup with a crosshair antenna pointed at the barn walking through the pine trees i made it about 400 feet with 100 mw about 425 with 1 watt and 450 with 6 watt ....i am guessing with line of sight it would be a different story ..but i guess no matter how bright your flashlight it wont go through solid objects ...much like my video tx lolI just got my booster. First I put on the antenna.! This is very very important !!!!!.
I have tested it with Lawmate 1W. on 1160MHz. I have messured RSSI on short range about 2 meters. This gave 80 rssi with the lawmate turned on, and the booster turned off. Then I turned the booster on and the rssi rised to 99rssi. The booster uses 3 amp about 50W on 16,6V.
The booster works just fine. Very good HK.
I will return with test results from long range later.
