The 3508-700KV MultiStar is almost too nice to fly! The workmanship and detail in this motor is at a whole new level. It’s fitted with shimmed and pre-loaded NMB bearings and has 570mm long high grad silicon wires. It has dual prop mounting, either a bolt on 6mm shaft prop hub or the 12mm spacing bolt threw prop attachment with a precision upper thrust washer for an unlimited range of props. And with 14P12S pole count its smooth efficient and has loads of torque.

This motor is pretty good and proper KV for 600-700 class Multicopter.
I installed this in my Tarrot 650 X-copter. with 12x4.5 and 11x4.5 APC prop.
Both setting of them works well. But 12-inch prop is better, It's more power.
I uses Hobbywing X-Rotor ESC - 40amp. Because it has connector on it's board, it's well fit with this motor's long load(it's good point also).
But, I think the quality of the bearing is quite poor. Some fall-off make the bearing get bad. But I recommend this motor for the 600-700 class multicopter strongly.
It's quite good.very nice motors. Running on a 2300grams tarot 690 hexa. 3s and 13x5.5 propps. current is 20-27amps hovering in very windy weather.

I have been using Afro esc. Got sync issue on one esc and had to reflash to the latest 2013-10-.. firmware. Now i got 30 minutes in the fram from schratch build and all working very well!No mounting screws, that's a bit strange. Every other motor I have purchased from Hobbyking includes them so didn't thinks twice. With hindsight I should have picked it up from the photos. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
