This great looking and amazingly well priced little Aero Subaru is of a traditional balsa construction and features a highly detailed printed scale covering in an authentic Fuji Heavy Industries scheme complete with panel lines, etc and is just the ticket for some scale sport flying on calm days!
Whilst the fuselage is of a fully sheeted balsa construction for strength & profile, the Subaru is suprisingly light and only requires a low power/low cost power train, the servo count is also low and with only standard 9g servo's required, one thing is for sure, this is a scale model that won't break the bank to build! The supplied hardware is comprehensive & nice quality, particularly considering the low price of this kit, the Subaru is also practical and features a removable 1pc wing for easy transport, an easy access battery hatch and robust under-carriage, including a steerable nose wheel.
If you are looking for an easy to fly sport/scale model in the "parkfly" size, the FA-200 may just be for you, cheap to buy and build, and offering the kind of durability that only balsa can deliver, this Subaru is just great value for money!

Nice small plane, acrobatic but easy to handle, smooth landings and take offs just the nose landing gear needs to be reinforced, is too weak and it will last just for the first or second landing. Depends your setup, 3S 1800- 2200 battery is a nice flying, 4S is aggressive and fast but still you can handle it with no problem. As a follow up to my review above. I have discovered how to have some amazing fun with this little plane. Remove the landing gear, hand launch and land in long grass. With all the electronics from my old Parkzone Sport Cub (which a mate destroyed!), this thing rocks. Well worth the money.I ordered this model knowing it was a cheap product and didn't expect too much for the money. It was a way of using up some gash bits to make a model. The actual model itself is OK and went together fairly well in an evening. OK it's built to a price and a bit of fettling is needed, but I've paid lots more for worse kits. My main problem is the manual. Stating the wingspan as 1300mm when it's 1040mm isn't a good start. The C of G is taken from a random datum (try 25-35mm from leading edge) The pictures look like they were drawn on an etch-a-sketch. The typical servo arrangement is nonsense, making the nose wheel and rudder go opposite directions. Very poor indeed. Still, for the money, worth a shot.My power source is 2836 1120Kv moter, HK 60A ESC, 9x6 APC Prop and 3S 2200mAh Bettery, C.G point is main wing front line to 25~35 mm. Verry Good C.G This power source is not fast setting. but verry safety flying. and All styart-up is possible. Roll , Spiral, Cuban Eight and Loop. Safety take-off and Landing. good luck!overall received in a good condition. nice design, very easy to fly and quite stable.
put 2200mah 30C 3s and got a perfect CoG
