Very smooth motor, quiet compared to brushed motors. I'm not sure, but I feel like the entire case is made of metal. This was important to me because I didn't want the mounting tabs to be plastic. I don't want the flex. Description says plastic and metal case. I'm not sure where the plastic is? The top could be plastic, I'm not sure. Either way, it's pretty stiff and holds up to high torque applications. Good servo, but for slightly more money, I would go for the Go-tek all metal case with double the amount of torque. I'm using this on a CC-01 Crawler.
