This is good nitro engine, easy to tune and easy to maintance. If compare with OS engine with same type, I prefers this engine.
I have had a few of these engine's starting from when they where first introduced into Australia. They are great value, never had any problems. I Have always run them on Caster Synthetic blend no Nitro. The ASP .46 has plenty of power. I'm running it with HiModels pitts muffler and it works great. It seems close to, if not more touchy then electric on the throttle.Start easily but carburetor could be better. Main needle is sloppy. Be prepared to frequent dead stick landings. You get what you paid for.Nice motor, runs great will be ordering more............................................................................I was skeptical on this little engine for the price point, but was very pleasantly surprised. Starts easy and idles like a dream right off the bat. Great job HK on this oneI got my engine awhile ago and it looks really good. It came in a nice box, there was no damage in it. I plan on using it on the Great plane corsair, I think it might be to much power though. Don't use more them pcnt20 fuel on it pcnt10-15 is good.I got my engine awhile ago, it came in a nice box and it was nicely packaged. No damage or anything. I never ran it yet but from what I seen of it, it will run very good. This is my 2nd purchase of a ASP engine. 1st was over 2 years ago with the ASP .52. wonderful engine...just like this one it started 1st flick of the prop. I just finished breaking-in this motor on idle with a few tanks of 10pcnt. Only just starting to open-up the throttle and its great and is getting better as i slowly lean it out. Breaking in with a 10*6. Putting this motor in a black horse sport plane. Love the ASP motors!
