BSR Racing M.RAGE 1/10 4WD M-chassis (Un-assemble kit) 210mm long, almost touching the ground, with just the right balance of stiffness and flexibility and a body that is sure to make you relive your boy racer days, when every road was your own personal race track in your Suzuki Swift, Ford Escort or Mini Cooper (depending when you were born) and the thrill of a well balanced car was more important than all out speed. Those days when you'd spend hours building a 1/24th scale replica of your little pride and joy in the garage.
The M.Rage is not only the first true on-road racing kit to be launched by Basher’s BSR Racing brand but, we have finally come out with something that our car customers have been constantly asking us for… a build it yourself kit, so you can enjoy the experience of bringing your car to life, right down to painting its neat little Suzuki Swift body.
If you're a racer or serious basher you'll love the tough carbon fibre chassis, carbon reinforced plastics for the swing arms and gearboxes, ball diffs front and rear, silky smooth aluminium shocks and a range of option parts to keep even the most competitive drivers happy.
Because this car is so small, light and nimble you don't need a super fast brushless system to have fun, in fact we set it up with an old school 27T brushed motor for the video shoot and it was more than enough power to whip around an on-road track.
This is a genuine race car just in a smaller package than normal. So relive those halcyon days of building your own models and tearing up the streets with your hot hatch and get yourself the M.Rage from BSR.

Awesome car! not perfect tho, keep a keen eye on those diffs every few runs and when you first get the car unscrew the diff and apply generous locktite to the bolt. Check the shocks as well, sometimes they are leaky. This said, I've raced tamiya minis for years and this runs circles around them. Durable so far, it's been raced half a dozen times and ran in practice every oppurtuneity i get and other than links popping out no breakages... yet. I would still urge hk to carry more spares.
I was banned from racing it lately at 2 tracks so far but I am pushing to make it a class at my local one. So far a few guys have picked up kits and every time I run it people come look at it as it drives like a touring car and looks like a mini.
a great product and great value, would love to see hop ups like gear diff with aluminum or steel outdrives out backthis is one of the best kits/cars i have ever owned, drives beautifully, would be easy to use as a real race chassis. only issue was the servo saver wouldnt fit my hitec servo, i ended up using an old one from my hpi e10. definately recommend this to everyone.Recived my kit yesterday missing hub carrier cant finished car come on hobbyking where is the QC ?Great little car and certainly good quality for the price. Only negative is the poor parts support with some parts on backorder for more than 3 months. I had to buy a second car to get some spares which at the price is good value, but I won't be doing that again. What an amazing value for money little car! We have started racing these at our indoor circuit with great results. Using the Trackstar 21.5T as a control motor. the racing is really close and only half a second or so slower than fully size tourers running 13.5T. So far I have only come across one weak spot and that is the diff. They are pre built but it does not seem to be with a proper ball diff grease and the thrust bearing is dry. A quick degrease and rebuild using a good quality ball diff grease solves the problem though, when reassembling the diff be sure not to overtighten as only 1 to 1 and a half turns is required after the initial grab, the half joints are only plastic and will fail if overtightened. Other than that the M.Rage is a great little package at a truly unbelievable price.I have experienced on playing RC more than 35 years, it is really fun on assembling a 4WD mini car. The servo saver is bigger than usual. Apart from this, this car is full of ball-bearing. WOW!!! Such price with carbon fiber chassis, ... excellent!!!The parts of this kit look and feel very nice, carbon chassis plates, alloy shocks, CVD-axles on all wheels. Pre-threading the screw holes with a 3mm tap makes the build much easier. Make sure you don't tighten the screws too much, especially the screws for the gear/diff covers, because that could cause some binding in the drive train (at least with my car that was the case). Most of the plastic parts feel like there is some fiber reinforcement (RFP-material), the suspension parts feel like normal plastic, which gives them some flex and make them less breakable in case of a collision.
Overall I think it is a very nice kit, with a very good value-for-money. It would be nice to have spare-parts in the EU Warehouse, as for now I can only order them from the International Warehouse.Great car out of the box but unfortunately the plastics are a bit fragile. The screws tend to pull out of the steering hubs too easily and then you lose the top hat washers. Wouldn't be too much of a problem but Hobbyking don't seem to keep many spares, in fact none in the UK. Spares are available from the Global warehouse but the important parts and hop ups have been on back order for over a month now. Four people I know of have bought these and all have had the exact same problems. Good little car spoilt by lack of parts support on Hobbykings side.
