Carbon Strip (5pcs/set)

Nice qualiy cheap carbon strips. Very good for reinforcing beams. Much more efficient than full carbon beams when it comes to flexural stresses. Piu' velocita'= piu' sollecitazione alareNot bad quality for the price. Had a couple that were curved. Will use those for short pieces. For the money it's a good deal.excellent Quality lightweight and strong carbon fibre perfect for reinforcing wings or landing gear in foam models - high strength gain for little weight penalty - also good for quick super glue repairs to reinforce the area around a breakAlways have a stack of these on hand to reinforce foamies.
Use a utility knife blade clamped in a vice grips, with a razor blade next to it to keep a constant depth when heated and run along a metail straight edge to melt a channel for the CF.
Then clean up the trench with folded sandpaper, rough up the CF a little and smear with thin layer of gorilla glue. Push in trench and run clear tape over the whole thing to keep the GG flush with the surface.
Make a big difference with overall stiffness (i.e. more precise flying) and crash-resistance.Great for bracing after those less-than-perfect landings Great quality with no flaws that I can see. These are very cheap compaired to other outlets what a bargin. Very strong when used on edge. Ideal for extra reinforcement in balsa or foamies and light too.I just ordered these carbon strips because a mate of mine makes great looking foil covered foam models. It is easy to do and give excellent strength/rigidity with very little added weight to the model. Where extra strength is needed just make a 8mm deep straight cut with a hobby cutter and fit in the carbon strip and finnish with crazy glue before you iron on the foil. The combination carbon strip with the thermal covering foil from HobbyKing really rocks and last but not least is that your model is much better protected against dents and damages because of rough situations and transport.
I recommend this product very much.
Top quality carbon - ideal for strengthening tail surfaces
