great power and weight and want to increase the cooling of the motor and protect the cable exit from the hole motorFirst review of this item. Bought two of them to be build in a SU-27 fiber glass jet. They came very good looking and nice made. On first test run they show smooth run so seem to be balanced also and it a power horse :-)). After more testing and flight I come back with further information.I bought two of these for my LX F4J Phantom. Initial data from 6S 5000mAh 40C packs showed a peak current of 87A each (174A total), and power draw of 1930W each - fully up to specification! The fans are smooth, sound terrific and put out some serious thrust (which I'm not prepared to try and measure - this set-up scares me!). Unlike every other fan I've bought, these were "plug and play" - just drop them into their recesses (they fitted perfectly) and power them up. I used YEP 90A ESCs, which might be a bit light-on for head-room, but their heatsinks protrude into the duct with good cooling (I cut the heatsinks free of the surrounding shrink-wrap). Flight report to come, but these are the most powerful 70mm fans I've ever had and run rings around my Wemotec MiniFan. Further, the cost was only slightly more than ChangeSun fans with aftermarket motors.I have this motor in my sport jet. It sounds gerat, close to double the speed and on a 4s 2650 30-40c over 3 min. flight time. Will surely buy another for my vampire and sea vixen.
