This fan is not very solid. I dont recomend it. The changesun is worth every cent. I suggest you buy that from Hobbyking instead of this one.I have tried on HXT 2835 (380S) 3900kv Brushless Inrunner. It is just not made for this motor. Quiton M may like to clarify this please. I have several jets GWS f-15 and Art Tech SU-27 with these on 3S.The price is low and very satisfactory.
Making can be improved, and it is pleasant.
I want you to increase the lineup of the motor more.
good fan for the price but had to balance it, expected though considering it was so cheap, put turnigy 2836 3700kv heli motor in it and it has great thrustNice fit for an A-10C parfait fonctionne toujours jusqu'a maintenantI cannot fly with this EDF coz it's to big for my F18. But it is a good material.These 3.5" EDF's are built light - everybody spends time balancing them as the rotor is moulded off-centre about 1/4mm. Luckily blade clearance 1mm (inefficient) - Big FSA with little 28mm motor in centre.
I tested a 2835-3900Kva , 3s2200 for 52,2Ap 530Wp ! and 2835-2700Kva , 3S2200 for 27.5Ap 294Wp both with finned heat sinks - Generally this fan suits a large fuselage slower Jet like - HC Haoye J10 - slow VNE but good thrust & vertical 1:1Fan is not bad but not great also. The rotor was very unbalanced so that needed a lot of work. The fan housing looks ok and strong.
I used a 2200kv 100g motor and 60A esc to test this fan on 4s Zippy H 5000 mAH. This resulted in 400W and about 800g thrust.
I needed a rotor for a 75mm fan and i cut and balanced this 89mm rotor. Works great! Down to 360W but only 650 g thrust.
Great fan but needs a lot of work to balance. I will buy 4 more
