TURNIGY, the name synonymous with performance, reliability and innovation is excited to release a powerful new battery chemistry in the Turnigy Graphene!
What does this really mean for you? Well not only do Graphene batteries go harder for longer but they're unlike anything you have seen or used before.
Turnigy Graphene packs utilize carbon in the battery structure to form a single layer of graphene just 0.335nm thick, making that type of battery substrate the thinnest known to mankind. The graphene particles form a highly dense compound allowing electrons to flow with less resistance compared to traditional Lipoly battery technologies.
The result is a battery capable of maintaining greater power output whilst remaining much cooler under load. Since heat and resistance are the natural enemy of batteries Graphene chemistry has significantly reduced these problems and the result is an incredible boost in cycle life.
Turnigy Graphene batteries are the new standard for serious hobbyists who require POWER ON DEMAND.
Voltage: 3S1P / 3 Cell / 11.1V
Discharge: 65C Constant / 130C Burst
Weight: 163g (including wire, plug & case)
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT-60
Note: Graphene LiPo Batteries only require a standard Lipo battery charger.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries.
• Power density: 0.15-0.17kw/kg (5Ah-16Ah)
• Power density: 0.13-0.15kw/kg (1Ah-4.9Ah).
• Stable High pack voltage through duration of use.
• High discharge rate, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, packs stay much cooler under extreme conditions
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge.
• Maintains higher pack capacity even after hundreds of cycles
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life (reportedly in excess of 900 during testing).

Excellent discharge curve. After conditioning, have been field charging at 5C...three batteries can give continuous flying. The few extra grams of weight are not noticeable. I feel these batteries provide power on par with the Bolts, but last far longer (cycle-wise).amazing battery! heaps more power vs the old zippy i was using before. great packaging. Very resilient battery, i once dropped one down to 8.4 volts by forgetting to reset my timer and flying for double my normal flight time, the battery was not puffed at all or even hot, charged it up and all cells balanced normally and it works fine, very impressive, and they're not much heavier than other batteries, and besides the extra power you get more than makes up for the added weight. will definitely be buying more in the future. only improvement i can suggest is adding a sticker with each battery.Wonderful battery ! Very pleasedGreat battery they do weight more than regular LiPo's but worth it IMO, the packaging is excessive and these could be sold cheaper if they came in a plain boxgood for H250 with turnigy elite 2300kvLes meilleurs packs d'accus que je n'ai jamais eu !! Je confirme les biens dires de ces accus...
Je n'utilise plus que ceux la et les recommandes vivement...Great battery under heavy load.
But it is big and heavy, so remember to check the size and weight of the package: If you don't really need the 65/130C, stick with the Nano-Tech.
The form of this pack is not optimal: Flat and long (in fact, it's longer and almost as heavy as my 2.2 battery). So you might want to double-check if it fits in your model.
On the internal resistance: I bought to packs, one had 1-1-2 mOhm, the other 3-3-3 (at the time of the arrival with ca 11.1V).Nice packaging, but not very necessary.
Pros : Lots of power, fun and lipo stay cool
Cons : A little bit heavyUnderwhelming battery, I read great reviews, and didn't realize it came in really oversized packaging and velvet bag (overkill and useless weight). I wish the cost of the packaging could be removed form the price of the battery and just bubble rap it like every other battery I've purchased. Also this 1500mah 3s is 40g heavier than equivalent nanotech batteries, actually making it unattractive for a 250mm sized quad build.
