H.King "Desert Fox" 1/10 4WD Desert Racer(RTR) is ready for you to conquer the outdoors, you can start with the backyard and work your way up to North Africa and from there the world. This tough little rc buggy is built for bashing in the harshest of environments with a powerful 3000kv motor and tough 2.5mm aluminium chassis.
The Desert Fox comes packed with features that you would normally only find on top level RC buggies, such as a slipper clutch that can be tuned to suit different grip levels, threaded shocks for easy adjustability, two shock mount locations on the arms for added tuning, metal sealed gear diff and a powerful 3000kV motor. The sealed radio box and waterproof ESC mean you can run it in almost any conditions and the super soft, scale off-road tyres will work well on most surfaces from rocky tracks to paved roads.
Because of its roomy interior and plenty of flat surfaces, the Desert Fox is great for adding accessories such as LEDs in the light buckets on the roll cage or an engine sound simulator, it will also make a great FPV platform for roving projects.
With this Ready to Run version all you need is a suitable 2S car battery and you're ready to go.
The Desert Fox won't take any prisoners in the battle for backyard superiority and will make other buggies in its class eat its dust for dessert!

The car is OK for the price, but stock motor is cogging a lot. Needs exchange to 4-pole motor if you like to go slow. Customer service from HK is like you get what you pay for.
Bought one of these for my sons birthday. car looks ok and was good fun. Got to put THREE batteries through the car before it stopped.
Seems the motor has fried and taken out the esc with it.
In my opinion the car is way over geared standard even on 2s batteries, I'd spend your money elsewhere....
The radio gear and the rest of the car performed well for the short time it was running.Received my Desert Fox fast! This thing looks bad a$$.
You can definitely tell its too much buggy for the motor. I used a 2s 4000mah battery and the motor burnt on the first run. HK gave me credit for a new motor so all is well. Overall great buggy for the price, just don't expect the motor to last long. Great platform for upgrades.H.King "Desert Fox" (RTR) 1/10 4WD Desert Racer nice lookNo se lo recomiendo a nadie. El motor y el ESC se han quemado tras usarlo durante unos 8 min.
He tenido que comprar unos nuevos y la segunda vez que lo pongo a correr se le han salido las ruedas...Well done !!! Received today ... so far so good :)
Everything bind and setup perfectly. Really amazed for the price.
I use it as a FPV plateform, performs really well.
Was a bit scared after all I read on the internet about the motor frying after 4 minutes.
Gets a bit warm, but I don't give full throttle all the time.
2S 5000 gives me 30 minutes of play time with pauses and checking nothing is falling appart. Still 3.80V, not bad at all.
Was hesitating with the Skull Crusher, finally, no regret, very very pleased !!!
Driving gently in the street and gravel.Just received it today, soldered on an xt-60 and took it out on 2s....seemed more like the E-Revo... gravel spittin' little unit. After a couple full throttle runs the motor was to hot for my liking and will burn out after full throttle runs back to back (from my experience)It took on semi-rough terrain as well as the flat back alley. A different motor will be in it soon. 3s on this set-up would be insane till it smoked. Now I have been running rock crawlers lately so everything seems really fast...but it is quick. The esc needs to be programmed...no brake really to speak of (RTR). Gonna try it with my FPV set-up...fun in the crawlers but a bit slow too.
A cool looking buggy and looks like can handle some punishment...we'll see.....Bought as a basher to mess with in the garden. Well impressed kept up with my brother's traxxas with the vxl motor escape setup on normal mode. Have jumped it off a ramp and had it about 5 feet in the air to flat landing and it survived four batteries of abuse before I broke something. That was down to me driving one front wheel into a wall at full speed. So I cannot fault the car and was down to me being used to stronger steering servos.
In all a great car out the box make sure the slipper clutch is not too loose you need a 7mm spanner. Very quick for the price.
Spares in the EUROPEAN warehouse please Hobbyking! Product is great spares are cheap but take a while to arrive, please more help in Europe please!Hi! this is the best model car 1/10 scale RTR ever exist!!!!
i bought this in EU warehouse, shipping was very fast and apreciately!
this model is very simply and easy to plug and play, very easy! the quality of components is very good!
the chassis and more other parts of the main body are in alloy, all transmissions are on bearings, there are 2 differential, big hydraulic suspensions, the tyres are very big!
the radio is simple to play, steering servo on board are very very fast andvery good!
the external case are very strong! i like this car model!
i suggest this item! top!Wow, when you buy RTR you expect to have to upgrade a few parts to really get the best out of it. Not in this case. It really is excellent straight out of the box. Adjusted for a little "toe in" on the front and a bit of adjustment on the rear suspension was all it needed. Running on a 2s 4000 pack gave me at least 10 minutes of fun. The spoiler WILL snap off but all you need to do is attach it with longer bolts and nuts then mount the spoiler on the rearmost holes and all is well. Seriously, buy this thing and have fun. It rocks!.
