Wheels and tires are the biggest wear item in any R/C car or truck. Hobby King Racing Parts brings you excellent quality, wheel/insert/tire sets for your 1/8th scale buggies at a price that will not break your budget. These sets are available in a variety of colors, wheel style, and tread patterns. Internal ribbing in the tires keeps ballooning under power to a minimum, maintaining more consistent traction and easier control authority. The soft rubber compound is ideal for racing. Foam inserts help the tire better conform to rough surfaces in off-road applications. For the pin style tread patterns, the edge pins have a special taper to give smoother cornering with less chance of catching on ruts. Wheels are molded of durable nylon plastic to handle even the harshest conditions.

Wheels are available in four different wheel styles with white, black, yellow, neon green and neon red colors to choose from. These wheels fit on 1/8th scale buggies with 17mm hex adapter axles.

Decent, but not too great. First, they must be glued to the rims if you want to make a corner faster than 15 mph, in fact they really need to be glued to the rims no matter what. The foam inserts are next to nothing, they look like scrap foam from packaging boxes, and get folded easily. This makes the tires slightly unbalanced, and not perfect. At low speeds (<30mph) they are actually pretty nice; good grip, handle well, can drift on flat surface well. But anything faster than 30mph they get a bit sketchy, as mentioned, they are always off balance, so wobble a bit. Don't expect these to perform high speed runs above 60, but typical speeds of 30 they perform very well considering the price. Would recommend for anyone playing around with on road cars.
