This is our short shaft NTM 28-30S 900kv brushless outrunner motor. It is built with no external shaft allowing you to easily mount this motor to your multi-rotor frame without the need for any modification.
NTM Prop Drive motors are rock-solid performance outrunners with tight windings, quality bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced stator and flux rings plus they are QC checked at 14 points, from material processing all the way through to final dyno test.
Because we design and build these motors completely in-house (from 3D/2D drawing to materials sourcing, machining, balancing, final assembly and dyno) we can completely control production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping the product to you. The removal of middle-men has meant we can drive better value to the market and retail these motors at factory(our) prices! All performance figures are real and tested on our own motor dynos.

A tiny little bit of play in the bearings but runs OK. With a 3S 2200mah pack I get 7000rpm on an APC13x4E at 14A. It would be great if the published prop data had rpm figures included.ntm motor always the good powerIT: Ne ho acquistati gi altri, funzionano benissimo.Of the qty 7 I've got now, one came with the prop adapter holes without threads (was drilled oversize can't even fix it). Qty 3 have super rough bearings that need replacement before first flight. Qty 1 has a wicked wobble.
QC on these motors are a joke. Don't waste money on these.Very well balanced motors , I use with 10x4.5 props and 3S battery and is perfect for my quad of 1.5Kg weightThese motors are awesome.
Using them on 450 and 550 mm size Quad-copters, they are very well made, smooth, quiet and powerful. Running 8" and 10" props they never run hot and the machined prop nuts look great when installed.

Will definitely buy more.First Multi Rotor so not sure what to compare to but bought six of these. Doesn't seem to be a vibration issue but at least one motor started giving problems within about half an hour of flight time. Soon found it when the aircraft suddenly started tipping over at random. Noticed now that the bearings in that motor are very noisy.DON'T RUN THESE ON 4S. 2 out of the 3 motors I bought for my tricopter could not take the 4s and would shut down midflight causing a crash each time. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I tried a 3s lipo. Switching to 3s eliminated the problem.
I saw smoke coming from one motor while on 4s, landed and unplugged...the motor is still working so they are built tough, just not made for 4s. Otherwise, good buy.
FYI the motors come with nothing, not even mounting screws.The C-clips on the rear that hold in the shaft and bearing tend to come loose and render the motor useless.. Other than that, the motors have no other problems. If I can find a replacement bearings and C-clips I will probably continue to use these motors. (2 out of 4 lost the C-clips)
