NTM Rotor Drive motors are rock-solid performance outrunners with tight windings, quality bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced stator and flux rings plus they are QC checked at 14 points, from material processing all the way through to final dyno test.
Because we design and build these motors completely in-house (from 3D/2D drawing to materials sourcing, machining, balancing, final assembly and dyno) we can completely control production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping the product to you. The removal of middle-men has meant we can drive better value to the market and retail these motors at factory(our) prices! All performance figures are real and tested on our own motor dynos.

I'm personally very happy with this engine in my 450 size helicopters with 6s setup. I run one in a 450 TT PRO FBL with turnigy nano tech 6s 1300 mah batteries and get flight times of 8 to over 10 minutes (depending on blades). Out of three ordered motors on one of them a magnet failed (parts broke of while running).Very good motor for the price. I'm using it in my Gaui X3, and it doesn't run any worse than when I first installed it. It does run a bit hot, especially in the 25C temps in the summer. This means a cool down session is required before the next pack is flown, but on cooler days, like spring and fall, back to back flying is not an issue. This is due to my setup, and I could easily lower the gearing and the headspeed to get it cooler, but other motors running a similar setup do not get as hot. I haven't noticed any issues from the heat though...just gotta make sure I give it a rest for a minute or two. You will not have any issues with this motor.Ive used this motor for 12 flights so far, im very impressed with its performance, its a really good deal quality/price, im using it in my trex 450 dfc pro for 3d.
thanks hobbykingthis motor was my introductioin to 6s 450 helis, and it delivers quite a punch! the shaft got bent a bit after a small crash, so keep an eye on that!Have to add this new review for the second motor i have bought, it is OK, no vibrations or bent shaft and it is very powerfull on 6S, i use it on my streched hk450pro to 480 using Tarot parts. It seems that quality depends on luck or carma or something...

Why would you pay $$$ for other name brands?Unfortunately my motor came with bent shaft and it also vibrates way too much to be used on my hk450pro DFC - 3axis gyro is having big problems because of vibrations... Too bad, it could be a very good powerful motor...if well made. HK, PLEASE quality check this motors before selling them.
ByeIst mit Abstand der schlechteste Motor, den ich vom HK bekommen habe. Luft unrund, eiert und vibriert. Reklamation macht auch keinen Sinn, da obwohl in EU gekauft, wird diese in UK abgewickelt. Porto kostet mehr als der Artikel.I have this motor in my450 pro. I received the motor with a slightly bend shaft so I ordered a scorpion shaft. after put this shaft in de motor I still had vibrations. motor is very badly balanced en shaked my heli apart. before I had a sk3 motor and had no problems at all maybe this was just bad luck and ordered a new one today. lets see what happens with the new motor.For you who would like to us this motor in an airplane (full contact combat ). You will have to reshaft the motor. Any 4mm shaft of the same length will do. Also a 8x4 prop with a 3s works. Very powerful motor . Perfect for flying wing with around 48" wingspan.
