The OrangeRx SF700S has all the properties and features of the original FASST compatible receivers in the OrangeRx brand but this one now operates on the later Futaba FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) system. This receiver has 2 operating modes, Mode A gives the standard 7ch operation, Mode B gives CH1 to CH6 as standard and CH7 is SBus.
The S.Bus functionality is an excellent feature for use with multi-rotor flight controllers such as the KK2.1, APM, MultiWii and others. These single line connections remove the weight and mess of additional wire leads for each individual channel. This is ideal for use on small frames where space is at a premium and keeps all the wiring neat and tidy. SBus is also perfect for large models and gliders that utilize a lot of servos, especially in the wings, once again it reduces the amount of wiring and keeps things tidy.
The receiver will also accept a wide range of input voltages from 3.5~8.4V which is great if you want to use LV and HV type servos.

I have purchased two of these - the range is good, and they are a good size with two antenna and sensible documentation. They linked with my transmitter with no problems and worked for several weeks each, but eventually both of them suffered antenna failure and the working range dropped to 20m, causing the loss of two models.
Would not recommend.price about four times less than the original . Works fine with a futaba 8J. Sent quickly. What do you want more ?I have purchased 4 receivers for my TJ6 and found them to as reliable or even better than Futaba at a nice price.
AustraliaIndoor tried yesterday, the receiver works well, but the label was stuck upside, I had to take off to find the bind button.
Essay hier en Indoor, le rcepteur fonctionne bien, mais l'tiquette tait coll l'envers, j'ai du la dcoller pour trouver le bouton de bind.I used this SF700S Rx on a 230 size miniquad in S.BUS mode with My Futaba T8J radio and was getting some brownouts during flight. Mostly while doing quick flips and rolls. Sometimes the Rx would reset quickly and my quad wouldn't crash but you could definitely feel you had no control over the model for a second or two. Other times my quad would go straight into the ground! Antennas were placed nice and high on the end of zip ties at 90 degrees from each other about 4-5" off the frame so that wasn't the issue. I went back to my original 8ch Futaba FHSS Rx and all the brownouts went away. Super long range also.I got mine setup quite easily (note: the manual dosent state you need to press the button during power on to bind, but you do).
The problem with this is that from the distance of 0 to 5 meters it continously gets signal losses. Standing 5 meters away I can twist and turn my radio and produce signal losses continously (red led on RX blinks). I would NOT use this in anything worth more than 100 eur..fraction of the cost for an old fhss rx. I like it.Hallo. Ich schreibe mal auf Deutsch. Der SF 700 S arbeitet perfekt.
