This USB udate tool is used for updating the firmware on your OrangeRX transmitter module. This tool is most useful for re-assigning the channel output when using the OrangeRX Futaba compatible TX module with your Futaba transmitter. It will allow you to re-assign the channels to match that of DSM2 compatible receivers and models.

Non ancora testato perchè mi manca il modulo con cui usarla, ma non credo abbia particolari problemiHobbyKing should be clear about what modules are compatible with this programmer. I tried to use it with an OrangeRX Open LRS 433MHz and it does not work. Later checking the reviews I noticed many customers report exactly the same problem.Dear HobbyKing,
PLEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR YOUR ORANGERX OPEN LRS. IT WILL NOT PROGRAM IT. THIS IS FOR DSM STUFF.
Angry customer.Very usefull. But if you do not do the Telemetry mod to your openlng TX module. If you did this mod it is no longer possible to communicate with the module and you need a FTDI converter.I will use it to reprogram my Orange Tx module for Futabaa must have for orangeRXI only got this in case there are any future updates. It looks slightly different from the picture but works the same. Only reason for 3 stars is the poor instructions.
I've been trying to get my USB update tool for over two months with little or no help from Leny E at customer service. He would rather piss off a customer and tell him to wait an additional two months rather then resend the $8.20 USB Update Tool. Hobby King would rather (1)piss off a customer, (2)spend money with repeat emails to wait for arrival, (3)go work it out with your local post office who say it never was sent, (4)then tell customer to wait two more months to investigate why it did not arrive. Which is more expensive $8.20 plus 5 for shipping to reship, or all the time and effort and bad will this has caused. And I'm a often repeat customer or rather was!indispensable programming to Orange transmitter (433Mhz)Don't get this is you only have Windows 8 - they are using the end of life chip PL-2303HXA :(
Windows 8/8.1 are NOT supported in PL-2303HXA and PL-2303X EOL chip versions.
