The New Quanum 450 Class retract System is a great way to get the landing skids out of view of your camera as well as add some flare and style.
Operating off just a single channel and a universal mounting plate, this is a must have upgrade.
But that’s not all! Some more great features include a quick release lock and rail mount, allowing you to quickly remove the system for easy transportation and storage. There is also a center plate with a standard 45x45mm mounting set below the unit for the gimbal or batteries, so adding this unit does not take away any mounting from the underside of your multirotor. If you have a larger 600 class H frame you could add 2 of these units in line for the ultimate in style and wow factor.
Max load: 4Kg

Looks like my previous review got deleted. I received two of these units and both are defective. The mounting and everything is easy. There is definitely something wrong with the servos. I had the first set replaced under warranty and the second set worked once and died. I would really be weary to buy this product. The servos need to be fixed and a newer revision made.I purchased 2 of these retractable skids when they were offered for $1.00 so I can say without freaking out and loosing my temper. :-) They come in nice clear plastic box with the main gear assembled. One box was missing a rubber foot on one skid.
One side stripped out half way up and the motor inside that side just keeps running.
Will never purchase this for future quadcoputers even if they offer them for $1.00.Overall, great legs that retract with simple set up. Quality of the actual pieces is good, but when assembled they do have a little play. (i glued mine to keep them from wobbling). I would recommend to a friend for sure.one of the legs stopped to work after 5-6 , other leg after 7-8open-close period the . I have received a replacemet after several weeks. One of the legs still working but the other works 2times of 3. I do not want to try it out if the gimbal and the camera is on. Not because they sent the gimbal with wrong socket , but it is an other story...Tried retract 3 or 4 times on work bench then I servo failed! Not even flown yet!! Not very happy with RMA warranty system so I suppose I have got to purchase another servo or retract!so so Quanum 450 Class Retract System With Quick Release Railmy landing gear is damaged. Anyone know the reference of the transistors ? I have two burned. THX
Agradeo que alguem entre em contacto comigo porque nao queria comprar uns novos :Pthese retracts came in a nice clean package. took all of 3 mins to put on my quad. has a smooth action and feels solid down side is that it has no spar screws. and will need to lock tight every screw or it will rat-all looseused these on my f550 and they work great. smooth action and at half the price of other retracts i did end up removing the mounting plate as it adds extra weight i mounted them with 3m tape and it shaved 70grams off the gear love them and they can handle rough landings. would get them again for my next buildI bought this for my F450 and DYS smart 3-axis gimbal. The legs needs some modifying to get i stable.
Quality would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the servos:
The first one i received had one faulty servo. Hobbyking were nice and sent me a replacement. The replacement had both servos faulty. Then Hobbyking gave me a refund.
You might get lucky and have both servos work. If not Hobbyking will help you. I will not order this again, just to have another faulty product received. There are planty of other options.
