I don't know why this has not been brought up before but the design of this gear is seriously wrong. The servos sound like they are going to die but do function well and the gear lifts and lowers. The problem i have had from the beginning is that the leg posts are attached using tiny grub screws and no amount of locktite or even glue can keep those legs from turning eventually making a smooth landing impossible.
If there were a thru hole in the servo shaft and leg it could work, something to lock it all in place. As is it was a complete waste of money and i have gone back to the landing gear that came with the frame.It could be an issue with my item, but initially legs started to loose and to take apart from body during flight - very low quality assemble.
Yesterday one of legs stopped retracting, making the whole gear useless.

Very poor quality Servo System Mechanic, the train is good, but not worth servos, at 2 months of having it, began to fail a leg, I've noticed, thankfully, had broken the limit switch (Malisima quality way) and two weeks more afternoons, the internal circuit of servo fails.
My advice not to buy it, make you one with retractable standard servos are of better quality (not great but better than these) and out cheaper.
Muy mala calidad el sistema Servo Mecnico, el tren est bien, pero los servos no valen, a los 2 meses de tenerlo, comenz a fallar una pata, lo he reparado, por suerte, tena roto el interruptor final de carrera (Malisima calidad por cierto) y 2 semanas mas tardes, se avera el circuito interno del servo.
Mi consejo, no lo compris, haceros uno con los servos retractiles estandar, son de mejor calidad (no muy buenos pero mejores que estos) y sale mas econmico.Costruzione in alluminio, abbastanza pesante, ho dovuto rifare diversi filetti da M3 a M4.

Please keep this item dry, becouse you will have problem's with rustscool stable retract, retracting action is very slow and shaky even with the springs. but at least it's stable. the flat part of the servo thing of mine came not aligned, remember to watch out for thatJust instdlles mine in my Aerial Foto Hexacopter. installing was easy and it seems to work well. its a bit Slowly(6,5secods for each movement) an the right one moves faster than the left one.
it is very stable an i think it will also survive some harder landings. the leg is from Standard aluminum tube and van be replaced if it got damaged.
quality overall is very good. Nice aluminum. and its not shaky in both positions.
