Looking for the ultimate in strength and durability in your next 250 class FPV racer? The Quanum falcons lower frame is CNC machined from a single billet of composite material making this frame the toughest Quanum frame to-date.

The Lower frames outer edge is 6mm thick while the inner section is precision machined which allows for a super neat and tidy install of your preferred electronics.

The 35mm frame stacks means there is a huge amount of space for a decent sized battery pack of your choice as well as your electronics and FPV gear. The landing gear is manufactured from aluminum alloy and is bolted through the lower frame arms to keep things simple.

The Falcons PDB is beautifully crafted from FR4 material and also bolts directly to the base of the frame along with the super bright front and rear LED set, Cam tiltback points the upper stack (included).

Features:
• Ultra high strength composite frame machined from a single billet
• 6mm thick outer edge
• Plenty of space for electronics and FPV gear
• Lightweight aluminum alloy frame frame stacks and landing gear

So, I built my first quad this week. I've flown toy quads for a little bit and rc planes (my regular hobby). I decided that I would build one and go fpv.

I needed a frame that was a good size and simple. It needed to be robust enough to take my beginner bumps. I didn't think carbon fibre would take the knocks I would likely have. As a result I opted for the Quanum Falcon Billet Block FPV Racing Drone Frame.

I cannot stress how happy I am. This frame is bullet proof. I crashed from 10ft onto concrete, I've hit walls, garden furniture and almost the cat.... It took every tumble in its stride. Only a small scuff on the end of the arms to show for it. No cracks or snaps.

The only negatives are, that it is heavy compared to CF, there are no build instructions (not that you'll need them) and no spare parts (that I know of).

Overall excellent for beginners like me.

Great frame for the price. Lots of space for all of your equipment.Be gentle on the landings though. A hard landing on anything but the softest surface will destroy the rubber boots on the landing gear. Anything harder than that will bend the landing gear or break where they attach to the arms. Also, the front LEDs got a bit smashed up on some of my more aggressive landings.Other than that, it seems to take everything else I can throw at it.

A very sturdy frame with a nice PDB and a very good way to mount your speedcontrollers.

The short version is.... You get what you pay for.

Pros: looks and assembles just like a QAV250. 3D printed accessories for the QAV250 fit perfectly. I strongly recommend a 3D printed FPV camera mount vs the included mount.

Cons: The landing gear seem to be designed to break the arms. I broke the section of arm the landing gear mount to on both front arms by day 2. Luckily you can just take them off, assuming you aren't using the under-slung PDB. Speaking of the PDB, it soldered up just fine but I had problems with the flight controller seeming to brown out while using it.

Eliminating the PDB and landing gear solved all of my problems with this frame. I used a PDB in the FC stack and moved the ESCs to the arms.

really like this frame. Only down is that it wont take 6" props. Like a rocket with 2306 2150 mini monsters on 5046 Bullnose. Smashed into concrete floor from 5meter, startet to crack on the arm that hit the floor first, but still flies fine. Doing flips and rolls like a semi pro :-)

A few facts about the frame. First off, the material is fibreglass, the carbon in the composite is close to zero! This means that the material is actually more flexible than straight carbon. So being 3mm with 6mm edges, the overall stiffness is probably similar to a 3mm carbon plate, so definitely NOT the strongest frame out there. But quite adequate for the job.

The comments around the landing gear mount is true. It is sitting on the 3mm section of the arms and does appear quite weak in this area. Make sure you land this thing vertically and don't do a sliding airplane style landings.

The machining on the frame is actually very nice. The corners to the edges are quite sharp and it is worth just running some sand paper over the corners just so that it will feel nicer. Using sand paper will show you how soft the material actually is and the fact there is very little/ no carbon content!

One last thing, my frame certainly does not come in at 150g, it is actually 175g which is the biggest disappointment! Overall 3 stars! If it was made in carbon, even for a little more money, it would be a much nicer frame and probably a lot lighter (just the base comes in at around 108g!)

Nice frame, feels very solid and rigid. Without FPV gear and battery mine weighs 330 grams. This frame will NOT fit anything greater than a 5" prop. The back has more clearance but the front does not. Not sold on back 'section' for the battery to be strapped to, My batteries dont fit (1300-1800 3S and 1300 4S) without poking over the edge and 1). I dont really like that look and 2). the balance must be terrible. Therefore my batteries are strapped the the top plate like most other frames. Great for the price, would recommend, but battery section is weird, and other frames like it are just as weird!

Just got mine in today, it looks nice but it does not fit 6 inch props while it does say that in the description. Guess I'll have to order arm extensions and wait another month...
