The Stinger 64 certainly has style, a great looking and flying EPO Sport jet that is a great size to throw in the car and go and have fun.
The EPO construction & pre-applied decals are all excellent quality, in fact as you are assembling the Stinger your confidence grows with it, everything is just "right". Assembly time is really fast, with servos, EDF & ESC all being pre-installed. The aileron servo arms are protected by covers, there are hand launch pockets molded into the under-wing, really strong magnets for the canopy & a nice clean battery bay where everything fits just so, this jet has been really well thought out.
The Stinger looks great and manages to fly even better than it looks! There is a servo per elevator and of course the Stinger has an effective rudder as all Sport Jets should, all of the servos are mounted at the rear with short control rods, the end result is precision. This jet is so capable, it is fast for a 3s/64mm class Jet but has a large flight envelope and is quite happy flying at low speed, ultra stable and ultra predictable, it is ideal for the new jet pilot but wind it up and it becomes a brilliant aerobatic model which is where the Stinger really excels. Jet aerobatics always look exciting and there is nothing the Stinger can not do and almost effortlessly. Stinger 64 just can not be bettered in this class of jet, it has it all, looks, performance, price & quality, just make sure you take plenty of packs to the field, this jet is totally addictive!

My first edf, but not my first "fast plane" tossed the stock esc and fan unit in the parts bin, 4 cell blew the fan apart on the bench. Installed the Lander alloy 64 fan motor combo sold here, and a Trust 45amp esc. On a 2200mah Zippy 40c 4s I get about 3.5mins of WOT. Around 100mph /- looks fast due to size, but dopplers a consistent 100-105 depending on wind conditions. I would guess it would be fun on 3 cell, but on 4 cell its sweet, hand launch is easy, just toss nose up and flatten it out to build some speed. Lands great, just keep the cg mid to rear of the finger holes and nose up when you touch down, the nose is a weak spot, broke mine once already. Cheap fun.Ich bin sehr Zufrieden. Der Jet ist ruckzuck zusammen gebaut. Alles passt perfekt. Mit einem 2200 3S 50C Lipo passt der Schwerpunkt ohne weitere Arbeiten. Vor dem ersten Start alle Ruder auf neutral trimmen und wer ein Spektrum Funke hat kann gleich 80pcnt Dualrate und 30pcntExpo auf Quer geben. Dann ist er nicht sooo giftig. Wrend des ersten Fluges musste ich Quer noch ganz leicht nach rechts trimmen , das wars. Beim Starten sollte man darauf achten ihn nicht nach oben zu wefen, eher leicht nach unten, damit er schneller Tempo aufnimmt. Er knnte sonst abschmieren. Erst mal in Fahrt fliegt der Stinger sehr unkritisch und lsst sich auch einfach landen. Danke Hobbyking.Good flying jet, good low cost fun. minimal trim reqd. Good for intro to EDF.
Had issue with fan breaking up, but replacement was only a few dollarsFlew the Stinger today for the first time and it's a blast. This is my first EDF/sport jet type plane and I was a bit nervous but a firm toss and it was off. The wings stayed level and it started to climb almost immediately! Be sure to dial out some control throw or your in for a hairy first flight. I had no problem controlling the plane and would say this is a great flyer for any intermediate pilot. The only issues I noticed are the decals are very fragile as many have mentioned already and the fan/motor is out of balance and vibrates the fuselage at mid throttle. Stock power setup with Nanotech 3s 1800 25c batteries, just under 30amps and 300w at full power. Build was super easy and the fit of all parts was perfect. I have a mercury alloy 64mm fan unit ready to go once I feel the need for more speed!Nice jet,worth the moneystinger vliegt mooi en is zoals hij geleverd wordt snel genoeg om te beginnen.heb alleen de canopy voorzien van extra lucht kanalen om de regelaar extra koeling te geven deze schakeld zich uit op warme dagen .

jai acheter le stinger et ceci est mon premier jet et je peux dire que il est vraiment incroyable .il est trs bien fabriquer et la peinture est vraiment trs dtailler on ne peux pas avoir mieux a ce prix la ses impossible . les servos sont dejas ajust (ce que aucune autre compagnie ne fais ).il ce monte environs en 1.30 heures .je le conseille a tout le monde pour premier jet .je le vol avec des batteries 2200mah 25c 3s turnigy .il rentre parfaitement dans le compartiment et parfaitement balancer . il faus juste trimer lelevateur pour que le jet monte un peux environs 3 a 4 coups de trim .il atterrie parfaitement au sol sans roue .vous pouvez mme le dcoller sans roue sur un terrain de foot synthtique.si je pourrais lui donner plus de 5 toiles alors je lui en donnerais 7 sans hsiter.merci hk encore une fois pour de bon prix .video a venir ....Nice jet, flys great. All I had around was a nano tech 1300 3 cell so I put it all the way forward in the nose with two quarters stuffed along the sides and the cg was fine. I only have a 6 channel non computer radio so I had to slow the throws down on the elevator (moved the control rods in on the servo). I still need to cut the wing servo protectors off and mechanicaly adjust the throws down on the ailerons(roll rate too sensitive). Then glue the protectors back on. The included screwdriver is too small to use, dosent fit the screws but not a problem! Shes not super fast but shes fast enough. I didnt take the time to lock-tite the screws on the fan/motor but seems to run fine (but I guss I should). The ballance is good on the fan.Great plane, flies wellSo, overall this edf isn't bad. I have a background of overpowered prop planes and powered gliders, so I am used to a certain reaction when I hit the throttle and turn hard. This guy kind of stalls when it is turned to sharp or hard. I had an unfortunate introduction to this plane also with the fact that when I flew my maiden flight one of the aileron servos went out upon hand launch. I fixed that, then one of the elevator servos went out on the second flight. Neither caused a detrimental crash, this things construction is great! Very durable! The packing and shipping were great. I didnt have any issues with the weight and balance set a little farther back like everyone else recommends. Other than those few things, I wish it still came with landing gear, I will be buying that, and the motor should be a little more peppy in my humble opinion. yes I would buy it again! very fun, great looking, great sounding jet once it is flying right and if not being flown too agressively. oh, and with an 1800 Mah 3s 20c battery, I get maybe 3 minutes of flight out of it at or near full throttle. not too bad i guess.
