TURNIGY AerodriveXp SK Series
AerodriveXP SK Series motors are designed for those who want the very best in outrunner technology for their R/C plane. Typically an efficiency improvement of around 8-10% can be seen over similar classed motors. This is in part due to the following;

This is a big motor which runs well on 10S 6,000mAh 20C lipoly's swinging a 22inch prop.
In our tests we ran a 24x10inch prop on 10S with controlled throttle for extreme 3D on a 90inch Edge540.

Der Motor hat eine sehr gute Leistung. Ich belaste ihn dauerhaft mit 12S Lipos und 78A am Boden. Ich khle ihn gut, so dass er im Flug nicht ber 45 C hei wird. Es haben sich aber nach dem 2. Flug mehrere Magnete (3 Stck) gelst. Trotzdem lief der Motor tadellos weiter, nur der Auslauf war abrupt. Habe jetzt alle losen Magnete mit Uhu Plus Endfest 300 eingeklebt und alle Rume zwischen den Magneten damit ausgegossen. Seither habe ich keine Probleme mehr mit dem Motor. Ich kann nur empfehlen, die Zwischenrume gleich mit Uhu Plus auszufllen!

il motore ottimo,ha bisogno di un regolatore superiore ai 100A dichiarati, consiglio minimo un 120/150 A ne ho gi bruciati 3, due da 100 ed uno da 120A sentilion. Se ci fosse un sentilion da 150 sarebbe meglio.

Il tutto montato su un modello da acrobazia F3A del peso totale di 5Kg. utilizzato in voli continui da 7 minuti per il programma FAI P11 e F11 con batterie da 4250 polyquest

I have tested this motor extensively on 10 cells with the rear mount and parts supplied. The motor has at least one serious mechanical resonance near mid throttle. The bell vibrates enough that the poorly wound wires on the armature shake loose and penetrate the gap between the bell and armature. If this persists and the wires short under heavy load, this will likely cause the ESC to fail and likely short the battery. The end result is a fire and loss of electroics and plane. This resonance was present even without a propeller indicating a likely defect in design. Front mounting the motor would likely result in somewhat better performance.

I use this on a katana 120s from sebart with a apc 20*10. 10s rhino lipo 4900 mah and turnigy esc. Motor pulls 67 apm and 7260 rpm.

Magnets are glued very well this time. 20 flights without any problem.
