Turnigy SK3 Motors are the next leap forward in motor quality and design. We instructed the engineers to source the best quality magnets, bearings and materials available to them and develop a motor that would not only rival, but surpass the quality of many leading motor manufactures on the market today.

The result is an efficient, high caliber motor using quality double shielded bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets and a string wound stator ensuring an accurate and consistent winding each and every time.

The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a quality brushless motor without compromise.

Great motor works well as a replacment for the bixler

This motor is crap!! My setup is a 50amp ESC, nano-tech 1300maH 45-90C discharge and 10x4.5 prop. I put it at full throttle and not even a minute in the motor burned up. For those that said they ran a 10x7 with no problem, I find that hard to believe. I have had bad luck with the quality of electronic parts from Hobby King. You get what you pay for.

Vision-EP (870mm), 642g, Schub max: 1260g, also senkrecht ohne Ende! Temp, bei normalem Kunstflug, 5min. max 50*C. Also passt optimal, l*uft leise und sauber rund! Perfekt.

kleines motrchen. werde es mit 10x6 klappschraube betreiben. 11x6 geht grenzwrtig mit 33A wurde im rc-network gemessen.

The motor is very good and very powerful, the problem is the X-mount: it's to thin and fragile.
It's the same motor mount you get for those smaller motors, adequate for a thrust of ~300g, but this thing is rated 330W: my X-mount has bended 2 times and finally broke.

Do consider that the motor is quite heavy, the cables are quite fragile (one broke inside of the motor, a real nightmare to repair as you can not completely dismount the back) and finally the motor shaft is quite thin for such a power rating. So also consider a 3530 SK3 (bigger shaft and stronger mount), or maybe a cheaper / lower KV / lighter 3536 Turnigy.

Minus: My motor came unbalanced from the factory (I could feed it's movement during rotation) and shaft bent first time it touched the ground. It's my 3rd SK3 so I'm bit surprised and disappointed :(
Plus: It runs cold under load and bearings are nice and quiet. Full set of accessories in the box.

LOL!!! PERFECT fits to Bix3. According to me The best motor for it. With 9x6E APC i can fly with 5-6A at cruise. You will NOT need external motor mound for it.

No issues with this motor. Running 9 x 4.5 APC E prop, 4s battery, 40 amp ESC. On the edge for watt rating but zero issues so far.
