Excellent Esc.. runs smoothly and does not miss a beat.
However it has NO BRAKE.. not medium or hard or soft.. so if you need this at all please skip this itemi orderd 2 of these esc and nether one will program, goes through its
cycle but nothing happens. am i doing something wrong do these program differnt then any other esc. need help dont know to send them back or am i missing something anyone please helpI tried the controller following the instructions but I could not get it working, I connected to a battery 6-cell LiPo (22.2 volts), by removing the red plug big but when I connect the battery starts to smoke and the cable becomes hot (it was also connected to RX via the cable around but does not respond to the transmitter, the Rx was powered separately). I need your support.Can any one tell me the best motor for this HV-Esc. I have a Apparition-II Offshore Brushless RC Twin Hull w/ Twin motor (800mm).
And when i use the stock motors with the Hv-Esc the motors get over heated. Can any one help me??????hello,
I am using 2 HV-80 on my catamaran, 12S Flightmax, Medusa 36060-850, 2x X442 props, everything stays cool and speed is above 65 mph...
Only problem is the charging capacitor small black wire with its resistor, it burns under 12 s!Well, this ESC survived the 32V volt setup a lot better then the old 100A HV ESC (the non-marine) In fact, I once measured a peak of 104A on a datalogger, ESC didn't bend or break.I just read all the reviews. no one said anything about the 2 servo leads coming from the speed control. The instructions say nothing about the two servo leads(to the receiver).
Why are there two (2) servo/receiver connectors on this speed control?Be careful programing throttle range....
I fried one of mine by accidentally by letting off the throttle half way through programing the throttle range, then pulling full throttle again... I guess i had programed it and then i gave it full throttle and i guess the esc actually went to full throttle and the esc shot a 6-8 inch jet of sparks and flames, out of it.....
But, other wise they seem fine...I have bought one of these esc, never get warm and the most cheapest, affordable hv esc in the world at an unbeatable price!!!I have 2 of this in my Isiklar,running on 6S2P3000mA/h on 2 Scorpion 4025-1350KV with 3.5 Degrees Timing on X457 Octuras between 99.6 and 102km/h.Watercoolers must be modyfied a little...Motor 45-48 degrees,ESC only 40 degrees.
The price is OK,Programming with transmitter or BOX makes no Problem.Low Voltage shut down is perfect and function all over perfect.
