This nano-tech pack is designed for use in 450 class helicopters such as the HK450 PRO, TREX450 PRO, Rave 450, Beam E4 etc...

It fits the HK450 PRO perfectly without any modification necessary to the battery tray or canopy!

By running a lower KV motor (around 1700KV), you can achieve longer flight times and extremely high performance (when compared to a standard 3S setup) due to the increased efficiency of a higher voltage setup in your 450 class helicopter!

More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those who love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

Internal impedance at 5/6/6/7/8/11 mOhms - NOWHERE near 1.2-3mOhms
Managed 5 min flying a 450L Dom in very basic hover mode as I'm only learning to fly. For only an additional 15 per battery, GensAce/Align etc are looking much more interesting.

I have no problems with these, they are strong and I get very good flight times on my 450 size helicopters (8 to over 10 minutes). With my Turing TQ4 charger they balance really and quickly.

Brilliant battery for my 3D printed Spitfire. 15 Minute flights on a 9x4.5 and 7-10 minutes on a 9x7 prop with a AX-4008Q-620KV

feta servir amb el racer durafly efx. molta descarrega i el motor a tope, s'escalfan fora i no crec que durin gaire, pero encara carrega a tope i funciona molt be. molt recomenable.

i now have 6 of these for my 450 heli. more than 80cycles each and is still going really strong. with a 2010kv motor, i get to run a higher headspeed compared to my 3s set up and 6s will let you fly longer. lipo also comes down lukewarm while my 3s packs were a hot even though i fly with a lower headspeed on 3s set up. 6s is the way to go for 450 helis

It is possible to get cheaper battery with the same weight and dimensions. Got two of them from where one came nice and well...however the other one has an issue on 4th cell....it never balance with the rest...used them for about 15 flights...where one (good battery) remain well and in the other one 4th cell stopped to work at all...to expensive to send it back for warranty...

Hard to find in stock, but so far these have been great. Flying in a 6S Gaui x3 (fit perfectly), 4 strong minutes with 353mm blades at 3000rpm.

These batteries work awesome for my 6S 450 FBL Helicopter and they fit under my canopy.



For comparison sake, after 3 cycles at 1C charge, I am getting a total IR of 54-60 on each battery which is right in line with some used same batteries I have as well.

Brilliant battery for use with the Turnigy SK3 2839 1700KV motor. Getting 7 minutes plus flying sports. On a new heli I got almost 9 minutes continual hovering. Landed with a barely warm battery,
