I would recommend you to open it and see if the heat sink plate is tightended well, in my caase it wasn't. the capacitor is cheap 85 deg version and not the 105 deg version. I did charge it in max draw, capacitor didnt heat up much. i guess it will hold. will it do so in summers when it is all enclosed ? I dunno, need to wait and watch.
For the price, it is definetely worth it, will it last a lifetime? i doubt itGreat power supply. Provides very stable and high current to my reaktor 300w while charging a 6S lipo at 250w. Gets barely warm. High quality aluminium. Very good for the price, highly recommended.
Weighs around 650g by itself.Use it with my QUATTRO Hobbyking charger. Works great!totally silent, runs the reactor charger no problem. bright blue LED when its on. came with a US plug kettle cordThis is a powerful powersupply and goes well with the 300w reaktor charger.
This charger can draw approx 21A from the source supply. At 12V input, it'll draw approx 250 watts. Given minimum 90pcnt efficiency, it'll charge at over 230 watts with12V source supply. I like it a lot. Make some noise but barely noticeable. Runs warm.
Ideal setup : reaktor 350w powersupply, 300w charger, parallel charging board and you are good to go:)
Dropped a crown because for the price, you can always go for cheap power source (server power source for example) but for the avid and in-a-hurry-to-fly hobbyist, its good!
