Looking for a 10 channel radio system complete with on board telemetry? The Turnigy TGY-i10 has arrived! The TGY-i10 is bursting with features which are perfect for the modeller who requires maximum control and real time telemetry.
The TGY-i10 uses 2.4GHz AFHDS 2 (automatic frequency hopping digital system 2) which spans the whole frequency band. Equipped with a high sensitivity receiver, this radio system guarantees an optimal and highly secure link between the transmitter and receiver.
The innovative design of the new TGY-i10 makes the handset extremely lightweight while the menu items and data is presented on its 3.55 inch TFT touch screen!
The TGY-i10 radio system uses high gain, high quality multi directional antennas, each transmitter has a unique ID, when binding, the receiver saves that unique ID and will only accept signals from the transmitter it is matched with, this prevents interference from any other radios and ensures the safety of your model.
The TGY-i10 radio system utilizes extremely efficient components and high speed processor chips for those complicated mixing settings. In comparison this radio system uses 1/10th of the power of a standard FM system.
Another key feature of the TGY-i10 is its telemetry capabilities, the radio system has the ability to monitor real time rpm / voltage and temperature data which provides added security when flying your models.
If you require more than 10 channels an i-Bus receiver (TGY-AEV01) is included, which will provide you with an extra 4 channels which allows an additional 16 servos to be connected.
The TGY-i10 really is one of the most intelligent and innovative radio systems available today and all at a price that will not break the bank!

This update fixes some bugs and adds refinements to the programming. It also improves the overall stability of the system.
Warning! Please make sure all your current models on the TGY-i10 must be stored on a SD card before you proceed to firmware upgrade. Otherwise all the model memories in the transimitter will be lost.
Please find the upgrade firmware in the files tab.

Poor radio, i crashed one diablotin. Poor range. Dont buy it, at least the telemetry works for 3days
Radio pobre, he roto un diablotin. Distancia pobre. No la compreis, la telemetria solo aguanta 3diasI really liked this transmitter and I regret selling it. If I knew at the time that I could possibly add a dsmx hack to it I would have kept it and now I have a 9x which I don't like at all. The TGY-i10 has a solid feel to it good switch placement I think and lots of them. I never tried out the 10 ch rec but I had no problem setting up the flysky 6ch using ppm on a naze32. I only had two complaints one wish it was module based no big deal but the other was navigating using the touch screen did not work well for me maybe a firmware fix could let you navigate via some of the other buttons but I didn't see anything about that in the instructions. Oh there is no quad option but I hear a firmware change can take care of that (Thought I heard that you may lose a 3 position switch with some other firmware though so heads up)Apesar do baixo custo apresenta boa qualidade, fácil de programar, leve e com boa "pega", melhor que alguns rádios de marcas consagradas, os comandos são suaves e precisos, de fácil acionamento.O rádio é leve é de boa empunhadura, confortável nas mão, não criando incômodos durante o uso. A configuração é simples e intuitiva, alguns pontos poderiam ser melhor explicados no manual, mas nada que comprometa o uso.I am on a budget (AKA, Don't make that much $) and this radio has worked for me. Very easy to set a model up on and program. Have the 9x and 9xr pro and this radio has become my main radio I fly with. Easy to set up and easy to use. The only bad I can say about it is the screen is unreadable in day light and the sun shade does nothing but protect screen. Have noticed signal failure on one of my models using the standard 9x RX a couple of times at altitude distance and is quite un-nerving at the moment but have gained control back every time. Has only happened on one of my planes. Have not used with the TGY I-10 Rx's yet since I have a lot of 9x rx's handy, but have a feeling the TGY i10 Rx's will perform better with the two antennes Both issues have not made me lose confidence in using and would recommend this radio. Updating firmware is easy once you download an app to unzip rar. files from app store, and then update takes less than a minuteThe problem is that sold me the broken remote.
The video can be sure that the Aileron potentiometer is not working properly.
Fantastic bit of kit for the i-phone generation. Great set up straight out of the box - already pre-bind and Tx & Rx battery check on screen. Really easy set up and receiver and telemetry included in box - just buy it!I broke two models in the two weeks due to loss of signal with this radio. In both cases, the model was at a distance less than 200 meters from me. I used different receivers in the models. I tested the transmitter range on the ground. At 300 m distance I completely lose the signal. Tested with 3 different TGY ia10 receivers. As others have a much longer range I think it's because of defective transmitter.
I am very disappointed with the transmitter, because I made damage which is twice the value of the transmitter. I can not use it any longer because of safety. I was open RMA. I'm disappointed with HK because waiting for an initial evaluation more than a month.
It is obvious that guarantee which I have is worth nothing.
Transmitter is good, but it is obvious that my is defective.Software bug is back!
I updated SW 18.104.22.168 to SW 22.214.171.124. "The throttle cut" software bug is back again!
In 126.96.36.199 Turnigy removed an earlier bug that started motor immediately when you moved throttle stick to more than 50pcnt (even throttle cut is activated).
In SW 188.8.131.52 this very dangerous bug is back!
An your saved models on SD-card will be not compatible in 184.108.40.206!
So Turnigy did a very bad job!
Think of this if you want to update to SW 220.127.116.11.
In my opinion there is no reason to do this update.
After half a year using TGY-i10: Good radio, but bad update-support!There's not much I can complain about this radio aside from the fact that one of the switches is DOA. The people complaining about range, I'm not sure what they're used to. I can go out at least 600' and still get a good snigal.
