Looking for a superb aerobatic hollow moulded slope weapon? Look no further!
Capable of all slope aerobatic moves, including tumbling manoeuvres and not shy if dropped off the back of the slope for a little DS loving - capable of in excess of 120mph on the dark side! Not for the feint of heart, this model will excel in the hands of experienced slope pilots.
Produced from CAD designed and CNC generated moulds, this sailplane was designed with hot performance in mind and features fully hollow moulded fibreglass, carbon and Kevlar construction, this glider is an extremely stiff yet light airframe!
Advanced pilots will recognize the availability of crow braking, full-span camber adjustment and snap flap for extremely quick reversals on the slope. This model packs a 'full house' glider into a 1690mm affordable, fully moulded, high performance package - and she looks fantastic!
Designed it to be very transportable – disassembled it can fit on a car parcel shelf, so it is very convenient to carry around, but at the same time we wanted an airframe that in expert hands could really perform.
The fully symmetrical aerofoil section gives a very wide speed range and possibility of operation in a wide range of wind conditions when using radio based camber adjustment - The wing also has internal ballast tubes moulded in and the kit includes an additional carbon ballast tube for loading her up for those heavy slope days!
The models fuselage, wing and control surfaces are beautifully finished and painted in mould. All control surfaces are fully live hinged and have their wipers pre-installed, all of the control horns are located through the upper wing surface - very clean and leaving nothing to snag on the ground. Her wing joiner is solid 16mm square carbon fibe - strong in an understatement! Her elevator is of the all flying type and is a plug in affair with the bellcrank pre-installed, also pre-installed are the carbon pushrods - all very, very nice!
Not forgetting the fuselage of course, which has plenty of carbon reinforcement, the nose section being 2.4 ghz friendly Kevlar with carbon reinforcement in high stress areas. The radio bay is large enough to enable installation of your radio system without fuss. The aileron and flap servos are located in the wings and their mounting areas are reinforced with a layer of carbon, the streamlined servo covers are very clean fitting to reduce parasitic drag.
All required hardware is included with the kit.

RCRCM macht ganz hervorrangende Modelle. Eine Augenweide und in der Luft eine Sensation.Trs facile construire et rgler. Passe toute la voltige acadmique et mme la moins acadmique! En plus permet de "gratter" et voltiger dans le petit temps, condition de ne pas trop le ralentir! Un de mes meilleurs achatsMy plane arrived broken and I have yet to hear from HobbyKing.
Comes on a very poor with almost no protection, it's amazing that even send their products under these conditions.By far the best product that I have purchased through HK! Un-boxed all looks good! wings plug in nice. Tail slots in, and every thing appears to align up straight and is square! This is going to have a good chance of flying straight! very happy with this purchase.
I have purchased the DG-1000 composite, asw28-18 ultra detail, ask 21 epo. and all of these have NOT been 100pcntPlaneur reu sans problme. Il y a des renforts en carbone. Seul le joint du fuselage est perfectible. The plane is a design of James Hammond, and is also known as "MiniVec". The plane is nicely laminated, the manufacturing is quiet well done. The in-mould paint job is also without errors. Be aware that the plane will need some thinking and also some work as many details are not really well thought. For example the servo horns: cnc-milled horns are included, but they don't fit. you have to sand them. and it makes sense to fix them with a small drop of CA until it is perfectly aligned. Otherwise the clevis will not fit. Then make sure to glue them in with thickened epoxy.
Forget about the "manual" which contains some flimsy pictures. Rather look for "minivec" in rcgroups or google, there are some nice build logs around.
