The Dual Reciever Unit is a wireless buddy box interface that can be used in a variety of ways and even allows 2 different makes of Transmitter to be used in a Buddy configuration!
This has amazing advantages over the traditional system that has always required the master and slave transmitter to be the same make and on top of that, you have to be connected to each other via an easy to pop out short cable and in turn, the cable ends have to match......the Dual Reciever Controller does away with all of that.
The Unit inter-connects 2 x 8 channel Recievers that do not have to be the same make and this in turn allows JR Servo configuration to work with Futaba servo configuration and so on. As well as pilot training, this unit can allow 2 x TX to control one model, this has many potential applications, for instance, for safe FPV flying, this will allow your observer to take over the flight at the flick of a switch if need be. The unit is small and light as well as simple and fast to set up and isn't much more expensive than many buddy leads!

I am using this with 2 of the 6 channel HobbyKing Transmitter ($30 ones) on a 3 channel foam plane. I use the knob on channel 5 on the master TX to do the switching. It works great! Easy to hook! Just watch polarity of cables. These are excellent for buddy boxing different brand transmitters.
goes between receivers and servos, controlled by 1 servo channel from master receiver.
Actuates in approximately 1/4 of a second.excellent, works fine when ... one puts the label of the tracks at the location! Indeed, there has been 2 months for my first test today ... nothing! Even on the enclosed leaflet, 2 schemes are not the same: a sudden the label is upside down and the second is to the place.
Incredible! Fortunately, this inversion (polarity) has no effect on this little box.Hooked this up to a high wing trainer with a Hitec Aurora and Hitec optima 7 receiver and a Taranis and a Frsky D receiver. Works great with the different radio combo and should work well with most combos. I will be installing in more models for "intro" purposes. This is the most amazing product. I used it for the first time today buddying to train my son and it worked perfectly. We installed it in a Bixler 2 and it fitted fine with a Turnigy receiver and a Spektrum 6210 receiver. I had to switch to take over a few times and it's response was immediate. Very simple to install if you follow the instruction and use some logic on the flow of signal. Every club should have these on hand because it opens up the possibility of buddying across different transmitters and mode 1 with mode 2 with no need for cumbersome cables. Great product and great price, well done HK.This wireless buddy box interface works perfectly, I am currently using as the master TX a Turnigy 9X (mode1) and the slave is a Spectrum something (mode2), the setup is running the standard 3 servos and 1 ESC using 9x15cm male to male extension leads. As the 9X has issues with the trainer switch I decided to use the throttle hold as the trainer switch having it revert to master when flicked forward, this has worked flawlessly since the first day. My trainee has, in the space of 6 weekends now learnt to fly square circuits, land straight down the runway and is now managing to keep the aircraft inside the field far better than most in our club. In the past I have taught by handing the single TX back and forth and only ever used a buddy box cable on a homemade single channel TX on a vintage model. This wireless system has made me want to teach RC flying again, next I will be trying the system out in a glider.Brillant product. Now I can teach people to fly with there own plane, without to worry about rc systems or mode (I fly mode 4). This at a price less than a buddy cable.
My buddy box had the wrapping applied upside down so at first it did not work. after checking the HobbyKing site I found the problem and am now a happy user of this product.!!! TECHNOLOGIE - SOLEOLE !!!
4. Vol test - tout semble fonctionner.
Allez hop ! En route vers SOLEOLE .
- La ralisThis is how I teach students how to fly, because many of them have RTF transmitters.
