More of a flying machine person myself...

This is the first car that I have had. Bought this one with thoughts of mounting a small video tx and camera for some FPV driving action. It's small, but with some modification I will be easily able to fit in all my bits. Apart from the driver's plastic head there's heaps of room. Time for a decapitation.

Seemed to have plenty of power on 2S. Unless you're driving on bitumen with some sort of super traction tyres, you're just going to spin the wheels faster than they already do on 3S. The motor was quite hot to touch after the first drive of mixed throttle. I wouldn't want to run any plane motor this hot. I assume that if you tried 3S, you would only want brief squirts of full juice unless you want a puddle of plastic.

Only quality issue that I have seen at this stage is that the tyres came out of the box all mangled and unbalanced. All of them are deformed, but one in particular is worse than the others. The hubs themselves seem centred, but the tires seem to be glued on irregularly which results in a tyre that is not completely circular. Didnt seem to be a deal breaker on the ?maiden? drive. The little bastard fanged around like a boss.

Now to FPV'ify it....

Love this little car. They're fast and tough. Also the RTR version can dial down the rates on both steering and throttle so smaller kids can use them reasonably safely. We have 5 in our street now. We set up a race course and have a blast.
