Really bad quality!
1 pin from the front part was canceled.
1 magnet from the front part was missing
Connection from the front to the back part does not fit.
No Reply "Hobby King" on my complaint
OK, it is possible to repair the part, but something like this should not happen.
Or is there no QA at "Hobby King"?

Bought this for my Hk 450 GT. Fiberglass work is nice but some details need work. Wood mounting structure was built crooked and had to be redone. Vertical and horizontal tail pieces are just flat painted plywood pieces and are pretty crude, and the hole in the tail where the vertical tail mounts is too big so some mounts will have to be installed to screw the tail on. The window cut outs are slightly crooked as was the bottom of the windshield. Also the lower nose windows are not included-I cut them out and molded some clear styrene for the windows. The faults are minor and most people probably wouldn't notice the crooked stuff, but I did so I reported it here. I sanded the green paint off and repainted in a color I like better and will make a new vertical and horizontal tail. This will make a very nice sport scale helicopter.

Nice body, looks great in the air.

fits easy onto 450 Trex, didnt even mod the tail servo mounting, works fine as is.

Does make the heli tail heavy, just relocate the batt forward, works nice.

during flight, front section canopy flew off, into main rotor, heli landed okay, canopy distroyed. Magnets not strong enough. suggest make it cliped on.

Cant get replacement front section :(

Got this as kind of a fun project on the side. Have the $29 HK450 kit installed. You need some building skill to complete. Added the Turnigy LED lighting kit and it looks fantastic. For the price a very well made kit.

After my previous experience with the KDS Huges 500 body I had very high expectations for this Bell 206 Fuselage. Unfortunately Its of poor design and quality. Front hatch does not line up very well leaving gaps. Only 2 very weak magnets holding hatch to body. Internal wooden frame is held together by hot glue (LOL), was warped and does not allow enough forward movement for a trex 450pro. Landing skids are a bit of a joke really, not very scale looking.
Buy the Huges 500 body if you havnt already.

This is my second scale canopy from HK. For the money they are perfect. They have a few finish issues with the front not lining up perfect but nothing anyone with modelling skills can't resolve. Awesome for the money, cheaper than what I was paying for a clear touring car body :)

The quality of the product is very good nice fiberglass work, but the assembled timber seems to be lacking in glue or a hot glue gun was used as it fell apart with out even getting the rotor blades on.

Should be supplied in bits so that the customer assembles and then if it falls apart its not the fault of the supplier.

Also found that the tail cut outs where the vertical fin is to mounted is not flat and too large which meant that there is not enough material to mount the fin, will have to build up the area for the fin to be mounted.

The screws supplied for mounting to timber frame could be a little larger and longer as not much purchase to hold helicopter frame to fuselage.

Overall the fuselage was well packed and delivered promptly and looks quite good I give four stars.
