Its the right size but very easy to snap.

This brass shaft fits the 310 x 5mm inner sleeve very well but I snapped mine as soon as I gently tried to put a small bend in it so I have just ordered two more to have another go!
With the larger part of my broken shaft I threaded the inner sleeve and the flexible drive shaft into it and found that I could bend it carefully without breaking it but not without some small kinks.
Fortunately these small kinks were not enough to prevent the shaft turning smoothy so I have confidence that I can do a better job of bending it next time, but I will also heat the tube to anneal it (soften the brass) before bending it next time and hope that this will make the job easier and also prevent it kinking.

Will NOT, NOT, bend well at all, compared to others I have used, could be thinner wall or material, kinks rite away, even with a spring around it and flex inside.

Attention. This is just brass tube. No teflon tube inside. You must buy a teflon tube for bushings. outer diameter 6 mm.
