I love this covering film. I used it to cover the fuselage of my Introduction F5J glider. It makes it look like the fuselage is made of aluminium.
It is also very easy to apply and all that for a great price.

When heat shrinking this film it turns cloudy NOt matching areas that didn't have to shrink so much,m ruined my covering job, would never buy again...

Arrived 3 days after order, amazing covering almost like a chrome finish. Ideal if your working on a mustang or want something with high visibility in a bright sunny day.

I just ordered this iron because a mate of mine makes great looking foil covered foam models. It is easy to do and give unexpected strength/rigidity with very little added weight to the model. Where extra strength is needed just apply double layer or even use high strength chequered tape (also from HobbyKing) underneath before you iron on the foil. The foil of course comes in different colors but can be (spray) painted as well and decorated with decals.
Last but not least is that your model is better protected against dents and damages because of rough situations and transport.
I recommend this product very much, I'll be buying more.

Beautiful covering material! It has a fine "grain" that imitates the look of aluminium. Be certain that your framework is prepped well and finely sanded as the reflective qualities of this film will only draw attention to any surface imperfections! Terrific material for scale warbirds. Highly recommended.

Don't touch the iron to it. It changes the colouring out. Looks good though will have the plane done in a while as like the others very easy to apply. Very thin material and very light.
