Works with Talon V2 quad and V1 hex frames

I mounted this to a Talon hex V1 frame by removing four of the flathead bottom plate screws (two directly below the #1 motor arm and two directly below the #2 motor arm) and bolting the two narrow CF plates to the bottom plate using cap head screws. Once those are mounted up two of the pipes can be mounted to it using the outer holes at the narrow end. You will have to drill or ream away some of the V1's bottom plate to clear room for the screws. Instructions show the back plate mounted on top of the pipes, but for clearance I had to mount it on the bottom. The 300mm pipe that acts as a cross-member between the two cushioned landing gear pipes separates from the end pieces too easily. I used hot melt glue to secure the end pieces (make sure they are parallel before the glue sets!).
This setup provides much needed mounting space for camera gimbal, battery, GPS mount, etc. Overall/quality loses a star each because it's a bit on the cheap and flimsy side without some DIY improvements, but for the price it's hard to beat. I checked the screw holes on my Talon V2 quad and can confirm that this gear set will mount up as noted above. See the Talon hex (Global) files for photos, they aren't mine but the setup is somewhat similar.

Just put this on my Alien 560. Still tweaking the quad so it gets out of control sometimes. The landing gear it came with snapped off within a few test flights. This landing gear has been bounced and jambed and no broken bones. even the roll over is smoother. Yes the connections pop out when there is a large jolt but I think that's a good thing. I'd rather it pop off than snap. I haven't used many of the plates since I drilled holes in my copter and attached them right to it. This means I have a lot of rings and screws left over which is always a plus. Again, I just started using it. I'll let you know if anything changes.

Good for the price, but one star less because one of the rings that holds the rubber wasn't drilled.Apart from that it was easy to mount even without manual.

This is a CRAP Landing gear!
The Tube size is to small and to wide apart to fit the usual gimbals on it. They are 70mm apart but they should be 60mm. Diametre is 8mm and every else the use 10mm!!!!
Leg broke in two by trying to click the tube in.
Mounting plates are totally useless designed
Worst landinggear i ever had on any Multicopter
Also all the tubes are quite heavy, everything is glass fibre!
DONT BUY THIS!!!

Mediocre frame, The way it connects means any small vibration is amplified and then fed back resulting in greater vibrations. Spend the money on something better, removed mine and built my own legs which are much better

Great landing gear! Fits almost every vertical takeoff vehicle (medium size), some with minor DIY work but love these! Futhermore, mounts almost everything so you cant go wrong with these!
