Replacement fuselage for T28

Original fuselage motor mount came loose from within fuselage and ripped out motor mid flight. The front of fuselage was written off, rest of aircraft survived. New fuselage purchased and will be strengthened before use. Item well packaged arrived safely, pity it didn't come with cowl as shown in picture, as replacement is out of Stock

Fuselage finish etc fine but no front u/c mounting included which was one of the reasons needed fuselage ended up making a plywood unit, much stronger anyway as it turned out but description should make this clear. Same problem with the cowling shown in photo but not included this however has been changed in description however photo still shows it, a tad confusing I feel

No cowl. This is a huge problem.
Secondly, no landing gear cage.
you should get the plastic nose gear cage to install the retractor.
what a waste of money, if you don't have plastic hardwares on your hand.

Photo showed fuselage with COWL!! In small print later I was informed NO COWL. However $20 credit BUT deceptive advertising!

A wonderful plane and easy flight, but yes, I advise to give a very light hand of rubber-lacquer before mounting it to strengthen the paint, because when picking it loses the original paint

Durafly T-28 Fuselage
Hello, my name is Fernando Espinosa, it happened to me exactly the same thing that Pete recounts in his review, the tail rudder has come broken by the hinges, I imagine that is a transport thing, although if it came in a more appropriate packaging, It would happen, the same happens to me with the engine hood, in the photo it is clearly seen that the fuselage comes with it and also in the descriptions it does not specify its fault, therefore I consider that I should send an engine hood immediately.

The finish and detail of the product was great, however I have one main complaint, the image clearly shows the fuselage includes the engine cowl and my order arrived, sealed in a plastic bag with no cowl. I assume this was a mistake by the supplier and not Hobbyking. Rather than the hassle of spending a lot of time asking for warranty returns etc I opted to just order a separate cowl which cost me $20 inc shipping. Also the hinges on the rudder which are just foam were all broken off no doubt during shipping, this was easily fixed by fitting new hinges.
