J'ai acheter cette Komet il y a deux semaine , j'ai commandé le meme moteur que dans la version pnf des servo pignon metal et un esc 45A .

J'ai fait mon centrage par rapport aux CG indiqué dans la notice . Donc premier essai , j'ai du demandé a ce qu'on me la lance car avec le train sa ne decolle pas . On la lance et surprise elle est completement centré arriere ducoup je l'ai atterie sans trop de casse . Si je suis le CG ma Komet etais piqueur .. bizarre ...

Le weekend suivant j'ai ravancé la batterie de presque 3cm , on la lance et elle est toujours completement centré arriere , j'ai mit les gaz a fond pour lui donner de la vitesse et la faire atterir mais le moteur c'est coupé , comme elle etais centré arriere elle c'est freiner , elle est parti en vrille et a fini en morceau sur la piste .

Comme d'habitude peut importe l'avion acheter chez vous le centrage est toujours faux .. Ma Komet m'aura coûté 169€ qui sont parti a la poubelle a cause de vos CG qui sont Faux .

This plane is a LOT of fun! Everyone at the field stopped flying to watch, as the rocket ignited and swooshed high into the air. I'm told, by flyers of "real" airplanes, that the wheel-drop is very life-like. You DO have to be aware that, when the rocket is exhausted, there is an ejection charge, meant to free up the parachute of a model rocket, and this blast will blow the canopy off and fill the fuselage with carbon. I stuffed a little fiberglass insulation into the hole before inserting the engine, and this seemed to minimize the damage. But all-in-all, a great plane; well-engineered, beautifully finished, historically accurate, and fun to fly! I lost mine due to receiver failure, but I'm buying the unfinished kit so I can fly it again. Make sure, when inserting the igniter, that your firing switch is off, or it will burn your fingers very badly. Don't ask me how I know this...

Je suis allé cherché mon colis chez GLS car "pas trouvé l'adresse ! ".

A l'heure du GPS j'ai trouvé ça plutôt grossier !

Le numéro de transport était bidon et c'est une secrétaire qui m'a appelé afin de m'avertir que le colis était arrivé dans son entrepôt.



Le carton est doublé et très compact, en bon état, le fuselage est bien calé dedans sur des supports en mousse et les 2 demie ailes sont scotchés sur le dessus sur un support en carton.

Tous les éléments sont sous plastique et concernant les pièces de l'avion, à peindre...

Une notice de montage couleur en anglais, une planche de décalcomanie type film autocollant, 2 hélices 6x4, un pilote peint, deux tiges carbone, l'accastillage complet pour les commandes, un servo déjà implanté dans le fuselage pour le largage du train.

Il manque : La colle, 2 servos 12g pignons métal (ailerons) et 1de 9g pour la dérive, 1 vario 40/50 Ampères, les douilles de connexion moteur de 3.5mm, la gaine thermo, un connecteur XT60, 1 moteur brushless 2200kv (commandé sur le site chinois doit suivre sous peu), 1 batterie 1300_2200 mah 3S_50C, un switch tout ou rien pour l'allumage de la version moteur fusée (3 secondes) qui donne un bon surplus de puissance et 2 aimants pour maintenir la verrière en place, pour faire décoller l'engin.

Pourquoi ne pas proposer une version blanche équivalente à la version peinte avec sa grande boite de rangement pour éviter de bugner dans le transport vers le terrain ?

Durafly ME163 Komet kit editio

Durafly ME 163 Komet (Kit Edition). A very good quality kit with a low parts count and a very good fit and finish. Its evident great care was taken in the design of this kit. It took dollar store acrylic paint very well (I washed the foam of course). A very happy customer here. I was able to order the correct motor (once in stock) as well and I hope to receive it soon to finish the model. Also I noted the quality of the small bits was so good I did not consider upgrading with Hobby King aftermarket parts necessary. Also the packaging was excellent. No damage at all to the product considering it traveled halfway around the earth. Thank You Durafly and Hobby King.

Really fun this model, very sturdy and easy to put together.
Paint with acrylic paint. You may firstly have to clean it with some household benzin to make the paint stick properly.
Delta set up; reduce the throws about by half, it's a bit nervous. Balances with 3s 1300 mAh and then flies 7 min. Add a velcro to hold the battery. The cg is indicated in the instructions and is spot on. Flies fast or slowly very stable; does all warbird tricks. Easy to land. Nice plane.

This unpainted version is great value at its discounted price - less than 23GBP.
I paid the full 45 and still thought it good value.

I specifically wanted the unpainted, non servo, esc, or motor version.

I wanted to try the model as my first PSS slope soarer! and boy what a machine.
I flew it in a 17-20 mph wind on my local coastal slope. Set up as per the manual, no trim changes at all and a pussy cat to land. I had a huge smile on my face and had real fun.

Arrived today quick delivery from NSW W/house, No damaged or twisted parts, everything looks as it should, first impressions are the wings are quite thin and the fuselage quite thick, it looks like it will be fast, the wings have substantial amounts of carbon moulded into them and they should take quite a beating, as with all flying wings It should be great to fly! I'm still deciding on which motor to use I'm thinking Turnigy 2826 2200kv with a apc 6x5.5 prop, it's lighter and can easily handle 350watts, the motor mount looks to be quite thick fibreglass with pre drilled holes, the original motor seems to be underused with only 6x4 props on it, I think it may have been selected to help with the CG, the cabin locating pin is a piece of metal again I think to help with CG, I will report again after it's painted (canary yellow or orange) and flown, looking good Mr HK :-)
