Hi Guy's . Recevied This birr about 1 month ago. Building This bird was easy but close to 950grms at the end. Flew very well but made a mistake and broke in 2 to 3 pieces. Re-builted and Will BE ready to Go again.

The plane arrived in good condition. A little tricky to build, especially connecting the two halves of the elevator and installing the tail wheel. I bent the end and drilled a hole.
I also added oversize wheels and reinforced the landing gear mountings with plywood and wooden square rod. I powered it with 1800mah 4s 40A esc and a large 890kv motor swinging an APC 11x7 prop. It goes fast, flips around the sky well and lands fast. Definitely a fun plane to fly when it's overpowered!

Hi!!! Received in good condition. Well packages and all parts included. Not So easy to construction, but being at rc plane since 1989, I did manage to complete it. Way out in Weight as described as 582grams, I ended as 950grams with a 2200ma, 3 cells. Will have to add some weight to respect the 60mm CG.

Will be back with comments after flying.

Leuk vliegtuig, alleen als je hem uitrust met een 28mm motor en de hoogte en richting servo s achter in de romp plaatst ligt het zwaartepunt veel te ver naar achter. Ik heb de servo s naarop het zwaartepunt verplaatst en een zwaardere 350 watt, 35mm motor gebruikt. Toestel vliegt erg goed en je krijgt waar voor je geld.

There's no way in hell you'll be able to get it near the flying weight, it is closer to 900grams with the suggested gear. I'm not to happy!

I found this model to be great value for money. It is finished very nice and is one of the cleanest covered and finished model I have found in a long time. As the other reviews have mentioned, the link between the two elevators was missing. This was easily fixed by epoxying a small bar between them. I also found the tail wheel was not quite right for the model so I made my own. I used a 2836 1500kv motor that pulls this Extra through the air nicely and am running a 1800mh 3cell set up. I think I might even try a 2200mh at some stage as think it might handle it. with the 1800mh the COG is about is about 75mm from the leading edge. The colour scheme is a real head turner and the top and bottom colours give orientation in the sky very easy.
All in all, very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend to the intermediate to expert pilot. Not a beginner pane as it does take a little bit of flying and being balsa and ply, you don't want to be fixing it often.
