I put two of these in a dusty old GWS A-10 kit with a couple of the Pentium 12Amp speed controls. Yeah Mama! for under $90 I have the hottest, lightest(13oz w/batt)and most dependable ducted fan in my hangar. Awesome motors and my A-10 sounds like a screamin' hellspawn! Thanks UH!

Wow, this is a good replacement for the default motor within the GWS EDF 50. I'm using it on a new plane : the Shuriken !

Overall a good motor, I was using it for a small prop plane with a 3x3 prop. Thrust was very good but not as good as the Feigao 1208428L. That motor really rocks!

Good motor for small planes

I used this motor for a 12 ounce flying wing and a GWS 3020 prop. It pushes the plane about 40mph (my guess). The plane can do barrel rolls and that's enough to make me happy.

In the F-16 from Flying Styro Kit with EDF Micro fan - 2S1P Lipo, current 5A.

Very little and light.

This motor is great in my small 130g depron EDF. Perfect substitute for the brushed motor in GWS EDF 45. If used with 3 S lipo you might consider using two heat sinks or go for a motor with a slightly lower KV.

Best GWS EDF-50 Replacement mo

Put 2 of these beauties in my EDF GWS BN-2 and wow. Smooth strong and can handle 2S lipo with no issues. Have these paired with 2 TP 12A ESC's bought from UH as well and just the best setup. No heat or running issues at all. A must if you have to replace the EDF-50 stock motors. These are the only way to go.
