The FTM302 adopts FLYSKY's third-generation automatic frequency hopping digital system, AFHDS 3. It uses a single antenna, a bidirectional transmission system in a compact design with support for multiple signal inputs. Supports external power and is compatible with standard JR-type module bays.
The FTM302 offers a long range of up to 3.5km + on the EU default setting of 20dBm (changeable through the management system), low latency, less than 10ms, and allows for online updates and managing the module via the FLYSKY Remote Control Assistant. Power to the module can either be internal or an external power source of 5~28V via the built-in XT30 connector. The module also has a built-in fan which automatically turns on if the temperature reaches 45°C to ensure the system remains safe, this can happen when the module is being used with higher voltages.
High-gain RF components, coupled with the 2.4GHz AFHDS 3 protocol, enable the module to cut through interference easily while maintaining high transmission rates, especially when compared to 900MHz counterparts. The FRM302 uses FLYSKY's latest generation of intelligent wireless protocol (AFHDS 3) to achieve higher sensitivity and higher gain. It achieves high-speed data transmission and low latency of 10ms in UART mode. This gives a precise response in weak signal conditions and active evasion of co-channel interference, especially when being used at extreme ranges and areas with multiple obstacles.
The FRM302 supports PPM and UART serial communication modes with failsafe, settings can be changed at the touch of a button, and the antenna can be replaced for customized applications. The FRM302 module is compatible with FTr16, FTr10, and all other AFHDS 3 receivers. So with regular online updates via the RC assistant, a wide range of the latest technology features, and FLYSKY's attention to quality and detail, this is a must for all FPV/UAV and drone pilots.
