The full-size retro-style FJ Cruiser SUV concept arrived in the early 2000s, the designers wanted to resurrect the popular traits of the iconic FJ40. The FMS 1:18 scale replica perfectly captures the essence of the full-scale Toyota FJ Cruiser design. The accurate details include the classic yellow and white paint scheme, the scale roof luggage rack, snorkel, footrests, heavy-duty front bumper, and spare tire. The realism continues into the interior with the detailed center console, rearview mirror, and authentic-looking seats.

The underside of the FJ Cruiser features a strong trail-proven ladder frame chassis that’s capable of handling all the off-roading challenges you have in store. The aluminum frame rail chassis provides a durable and rigid platform, and the multi-link suspension and Panhard rod design allow for maximum axle articulation over rough terrain to maintain traction. The power from the high-torque gearbox is supplied to all 4 of the ultra high-grip tires via strong, nylon driveshafts. The Toyota FJ Cruiser also sports "beadlock wheels", these will accept any tires of the same scale, making it easy for you to install your own choice of tires. Unlike a lot of vehicles on the RC market, the FJ Cruiser has a rigid, injection-molded hard bodyshell, this means it has highly accurate scale detail, plus it is tougher and more durable.

The FMS Toyota FJ Cruiser boasts an impressive array of scale, and smart function lighting, behind the transparent lenses of the front and rear lights are working LEDs for day or night driving. Triple fog lights are mounted to the front bumper, it has reversing lights, and operational turn signals on the side door mirrors.

The 1:18 scale FMS Toyota FJ Cruiser arrives ready to run, it is fully assembled and is complete with a full set of powerful, factory-installed electronics. These include a high-torque 050 55T brushed motor, 2-in-1 receiver/ESC, independent chassis-mounted steering servo, and a 7.4V (2S) 380mAh LiPo battery for up to 30 minutes of run time. To get started, you only need to charge the LiPo with the supplied USB charger, install 4 x “AAA” batteries into the included 2.4GHz transmitter, and you are ready to hit the off-road trails for some fun.
