Use the 'Fast' charge mode to reduce the charging time of Lithium battery and use 'Storage' mode to control the final voltage of batteries destined for long time storage. When charging NiCd or NiMH at 'AUTO' current mode, you can set the upper limit or change current to avoid high current charging. This is very useful when charging low impedance and small capacity NiMH batteries.
Every operating program in the unit is controlled with mutual software links and communications to prevent errors. Designed for maximum safety, the DC charger features input voltage warning, reverse polarity protection, Delta-peak sensitivity and Lithium cell-count input error warning. The exceptional cooling system allows the charger to hold large amounts of power without overwhelming CPU or operating programs.
Set the temperature limit and time limit tp prevent batteries from defecting over time. The battery charger has a high-performance circuit with a maximum output power of 400Watts. As a result it can charge or discharge up to 18 cells of NiCd/NiMH, as well as 6 series Lithium batteries with maximum current of 20A.
The battery charger comes with an individual voltage balancer for Lithium batteries. You can also balance and monitor individual cells while discharging. If the voltage of any one cell varies abnormally, the process will be stopped with an error message.
The changing capacity is always calculated by the charging current and time. If the charging capacity exceeds the limit the process will be terminated automatically when you set the maximum value. The input charger can store data on 10 different batteries simultaneously.
