The H-King Teksumo is a fun combat wing made from almost unbreakable EPP foam that is easy to build and will provide hours of fun! It comes in four unique colors so you and your flying buddies can have hours of fun ripping up the sky with some high adrenalin combat.

Wings, of course, have a huge flight envelope, it's one of the reasons they are so popular, you can trickle along at walking pace, fly aerobatic or just see exactly how low 'n' fast you can get away with! Get it wrong? No problem, the EPP foam can be repaired in about 5 minutes with some cyano and kicker and you are back in the air in no time.

With the recommended powertrain, your Teksumo will have plenty of performance and won't cost the earth. H-King recommends two different power systems depending on how extreme you want to fly. If you want to get more radical then add your FPV gear to the Teksumo for more sky ripping adventures.

Just choose the color you want from Flaming Red, Moto Green, Speed Yellow and Cerulean Blue and make sure your friends get a different color and have hours of enjoyable flying.

Good plane, needs +ve reflex on the elevons, shame it is discontinued.

Oct 21, 2019

Good plane and easy to assemble. However the angle of the servo in the horizontal plane does not suit the horn which is effectively too low. Ideally the servo should be angled down so that the linkage is more parallel to the wing surface. There is no mention of the need for reflex setting of the elevons. Mine needed 15mm of up before it would fly! Shame it is now discontinued.

My go to park flyer! It’s really fun to fly!

Oct 05, 2019

I love the TekSumo wing, for its fun factor and easy build. I suggest using only metal gear servos. I’ve flown these for many years now and never tire of its impressive performance. I suggest coating the wing leading edge in a thin layer of Goop, available at your local HD or hardware store. It makes the foam more pliable and ding resistant. Spread a very thin layer with an old credit card. I use a 7x6 prop, with a Turnigy 2200kv motor but you will need to trim the ailerons to accommodate that modification. It will fly with a 2200mah 3s or my preference is an 1800mAh 4s Li-Po and a 40A ESC. I have even heavily modified it to fly with a 70mm Dr. Mad Thrust EDF alloy fan with wingtip skids mounted aft and 25mm wheel mounted behind the battery. ITT won’t take off from the ground, but lands and touch and go on my EDF version is fun. I don’t recommend any plastic housed EDF as wing flexing will cause distortion of the fan housing which will eventually cause the fan to collide with the fan housing, and that is not very durable. The Alloy EDF is much more rigid. I just love the sound of my EDF version. It is a bit on the heavy side though but has at least 1.1/1 power to weight ratio on 3s carrying 3/4 oz nose weight. With a 4s you can do away with the extra nose weight.

Nice plane to just fly and not worry

Aug 05, 2019

This is quite an interesting plane. Running 6s with a 2814 1050kv motor and 8x4 prop as an fpv wing. I decided to sand and round the edges of the airframe, as well as cover it, including installing proper hinges while I was at it. A 1300 6s balances nicely. I will be messing around with the plane a bit more, such as adding a canopy if sorts, and a bottom battery compartment that will allow the pack to sit length wise, aiding in aerodynamics. As it is now, I hit around 160km/h. Streamlining the shape and reducing drag should bump it up to 200km/h.
This plane is easy to fix as well, CA or JB Weld works great

What can I say! It is a Teksumo. Bought as a spare for when the current one bites the dust.

This is my second one, to use as a spare.

Jul 03, 2019

I bought the first one last year and have flown it many many times. I fly in the desert with rocks and bad brush. I've broken it in two twice and it goes back together quickly and still flies like its brand new. O found that the CG that the instructions use is too far back. I had to add weight tot he nose to get it to balance where it should.

Ideal as a spare!!!

Bought to go under the workbench for that day when the original "will" bite the dust. Fair hardware package, just make sure to use decent servo`s.
