Just received mine - using as spare parts for a damaged BlackHawk 500 GP (nitro version) I'm going to try and restore.



All looks ok - great value at this price.



Comes in a really big box as it's already assembled and then in the box with canopy on and box has large foam insert..



The GP version has a different main/tail gear modulus so if you buy this for your GP version then the main gear will be no good to you - but since this is the EP vervion it's fine for that.



You need - motor, esc, blades, servos, gyro, receiver and batt to get this flying.. should be a nice trainer heli due to the 360mm blade size.



Comes as pictured but really sux that the Blades (pictured) do not come with it :( Hence why 4 crown rating..

Too early to give a thorough review, as I just received it today. However my initial impression follows:

My order arrived very quickly, only 6 days (ordered late night Tuesday and have it today the following Monday! ) from HK to the east coast of the USA. For a total cost far below $100. I think it is best to order this separate and make a seperate order for the parts you order, due to the way they pack and ship, and calculate shipping costs.

Most likely they will turn the outer box inside out to ship, so open gently if you want to save original packaging.

The Heli comes assembled, except for the parts you have to add: motor, electrics, servos. The engine screws on to a motor mount that you then mount in the frame, which should simplify servicing the engine later. Everything appears to be properly aligned and functioning, and although I will probably take out and LocTite all the screws, it still simplifies the final construction when you start with a pre-assembled unit. Much clearer then studying a drawing to determine how all the parts line up.

Speaking of drawings, there is an Excellent Manual Included !! In English and almost as nice as an Align manual. I was very surprised by that, being used to the normal No Manual of many of my Clone Helicopters.

So far I am more than delighted with this!!

this heli flys great, good wind penatration. parts readily available in u.s. robust and tough parts.sometimes hard to find carbon blades to fit,suggest you upgrade to metal blade holders if using 4s lipos

This helicopter is a helipro black hawk 500 ep. I have'em and they fly great. I even have the helipro black hawk 500 se pro nitro version with a .15 engine. When these helicopter is setup right, it doesn't need a maintense for long time. I baught these helis from ka-planes in a rtf package. To bad for this price, it doesn't come with no brushless motor or esc. But still a 5 start. Flies great :). Just beware with the weak shaft. :)
