Good enought to fly all kind of airplane and heli. This RX-8X is design only for HobbyKing TX-7X. So I bought two of this RX. The RX-8X weigh is 9 grams. For parkflyers its better to remove the RX case to get less weight. The RX-8X is very simple to bind it.

I just received mine and it seems to be already bound. When I plug in the Bind Plug and turn it on it does absolutely nothing.
I've followed the instructions to the letter and done it 10 times!
What a waste if it doesn't bind with my HK-7X v2 like it is supposed to do!!!
I'm really pissed off now cause now I can't fly my F86 Sabre that I've been dying to fly!!!
Anyone know how to fix this problem???

I got two of this receivers, the first one did NOT work and the second stop working two months later.
I send the unit back to Hobby King and they never send me back a replacement or credit my account.
Be aware of a TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE before you buy from this company....

I haven't been in the game again for very long. My last heli was a Shuttle zx with an old mechanical gyro. That said, I am very impressed with everything I have gotten from Hobby King. This receiver is no exception.

This is a very good receiver, bind very well with KDS K7X.

Put it on a Phoenix Classic .40, with JBA .46, 4 std Royal servo
Range is as far as i can see, no glitch or lose signal.

Lower the price and I will buy more.

4 star for the price is to high..

READ AND OBEY.. The tx manual says to power the receiver via an ESC.. I tried to hook it directly to a 2c lipo, and poof, it went up in smoke.. The second one I powered with an ESC and it works great.... So in my .049 glo plane I have a dummy ESC

Completley dissapointed simple B5K trim pot shorting out with stick movement. I'm sure return is out of the question. Anyone need a 2nd RX I'll sell it cheap, and it's new!
