Got mine today and shipping was good time and packed well. everything worked, but the esc gets hot quick. I had to shut it down after 2 minutes using a Turnigy 3s 2200 25c When I go slow I got a little more time on it, but not much. Not too impressed with it was expecting more for the money.

Bought this because the wife wanted to try something new when the RC car was getting boring.

Minus
It lasted 30 seconds before the ESC and motor for Lift burned out.
Wasn't even going full speed on a completely flat surface.

Plus
The 30 seconds it lasted it was great fun.
The stickers has to be applied to the body, which I think is good because then you can make it in your way.

Spare parts will be ordered soon and hopefully it will last a bit longer
Going for a gyro as well as that seems to be helping a bit for handling according to another review.

Going to pimp it with some lights as well for some night hovering.

Maiden run of my Hover Jet this evening.
Setup:
Turnigy 1800
Radio HK-T4A Transmitter
HK-GT2R
old piezo mini Gyro

Really smoth run without any problems.
Good control with a cheap Gyro.
Speed for the 50 next runs really o.k.
Lift EDF BL (2000KV)could be a little bit stronger.
Looking for a higher KV BL.
The 3S died with this run. Rest in Piece T1.8.
Low Voltage beep alert highly recommended
and ordered now.
Nice Machine, lot of fun!

this hovercraft is great. it drives like a drift car on an ice rink, as in: EPIC. you can go round corners completely sideways, just have to steer with both rudder throttle combined. to go round a corner: approach the corner at 3/4 throttle, turn it about 45 degrees and cut throttle to 1/2 about four feet away from the corner. once you get to the corner, turn the rest of the way round and increase throttle, feathering the throttle a bit if you have to. you should be sliding sideways, like a drift car. counter steer, so as not to spin, and begin to straighten on the way out of the corner. slowly straighten out, do not jerk back to straight. returning to straight too violently will make the rotary inertia spin it too far, leading to a violent swinging from side to side as one overcorrection leads to another. now onto the review: this is a great hovercraft, but the lower foam piece tends to tear off if running on asphalt. other than that, this is a really fun hovercraft at a good price. DEFINITELY ORDER FROM THE U.S. warehouse.

3 batteries through it and its falling apart , gets dirty dirty quick,
really hard to control , seems like the lift fan is starting to fail as it sounds like the bearings are chattering , i dont give it more than a few more batteries and it will be parts . i would avoid this its really a dissapointment and seems very very poorly made

i got my hoverjet a few days ago, and think it's pretty cool. i added lights to it (cuz i often drive at night) and with the 9volt battery for the 10 lights,& 3S 2200ma lipo battery it seems a little heavy. I kinda want a bigger lift motor to accommodate the extra weight, but am unsure of which motor would work best. any suggestions?? otherwise,, it's pretty fast once it gets going, but there's lots of cracks and uneven spots in street, so i think it would hover better on a flatter surface. it's a nice change from the usual cars and trucks i drive!
